Seeking a Director of Product to lead the Enterprise Technology product team at Intrado, overseeing product strategy, market analysis, and collaboration to enhance E911 solutions and the Safety Suite.

Responsibilities:Intrado is looking to hire a Director of Product to join our team to lead our Enterprise Technology product team. Our Enterprise Technology products include E911 solutions and Intrado’s Safety Suite.
The Director of Product will play a pivotal role in shaping our product strategy, vision, and roadmap. Reporting directly to the CPO, this role will lead one of our three product lines and its product management team, collaborating closely with cross-functional departments to drive the development and delivery of exceptional Public Safety solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers. This high-visibility, high-impact role serves as the primary point of contact for the CEO and senior leadership team, providing the strategic guidance needed to maximize market opportunities and drive revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:
- Own the vision and strategy for the product area. Define and communicate the product line strategy, including priorities, roadmaps, and pricing frameworks that align with our overall business goals.
- Set team direction and drive alignment. Lead a team of product managers, technical product managers, and product marketing managers, ensuring all initiatives are aligned with strategic goals and market needs.
- Translate strategy into action. Work across teams to ensure the execution of a unified product strategy that delivers customer value and competitive differentiation.
Market Expertise:
- Be the market authority. Conduct in-depth market research and competitive analysis to understand opportunities, threats, customer needs, and potential growth areas. Regularly update leadership on market shifts and implications for the product line.
- Quantify the market. Establish TAM/SAM/SOM metrics to provide Sales with concrete insights, aiding them in targeting the most promising segments.
Revenue Growth and Metrics:
- Drive revenue growth through market-led strategy. Own the financial targets for the product line, focusing on revenue, market share, and profitability.
- Set pricing and positioning strategies to maximize profitability. Work closely with Finance and Sales to optimize pricing and packaging, ensuring the product is competitively positioned to capture market demand.
- Champion a data-driven approach. Leverage insights from customer feedback, market trends, and business performance to continuously refine the product line’s direction and prioritize high-impact initiatives.
Operational Excellence:
- Optimize team performance. Ensure the team has the resources, frameworks, and insights needed to succeed. Mentor product managers on strategic thinking, market analysis, and product marketing tactics.
- Foster a culture of collaboration. Build strong relationships with Sales, Marketing, and Product Development to ensure alignment, clear communication, and smooth execution of the product strategy.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications or related discipline or equivalent work experience is required
- Masters/ Advanced degree in the similar disciplines is preferred
- Equivalent work experience in a similar position may be substituted for educational requirements
Experience:
- 10+ years’ experience in product management with a proven record in driving annual revenue growth
- 3+ year’s leadership experience with a proven track record of success within the technology industry, preferably in the field of network security, cloud computing, or SASE
- 2+ years’ experience providing support to top-level clients in a global/multi-location environment preferred
- Extensive experience in product strategy, roadmap development, and innovation
- Exceptional leadership skills, able to motivate and inspire cross-functional teams
- Strong experience successfully executing in an agile development environment
- Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
The hiring range for this position is anticipated between $150,000 – $170,000 and will be commensurate with experience. This position is also eligible for an annual bonus.
