WITHIN YOUR TEAM

As Director of Product Marketing at Pantone, will hold a strategic leadership role on the marketing team, acting as both player and coach while building out a high-performing group of product marketing managers who are subject matter experts in specific audience segments. you will leverage your marketing expertise and work closely with the Marketing Operations and Product Management teams to develop and implement marketing strategies that would help Pantone reach its strategic business objectives. You will be a hands-on and involved marketing leader, exhibiting a high level of leadership in communication, emotional intelligence, and a strong business-driving, yet servant-leader mindset, with extensive marketing expertise as you manage a team and influence other cross-functional leaders and team members. You are analytical, and you take a data driven, results-oriented approach to decision-making. You will be responsible for developing, executing, communicating, and evolving the product marketing framework and action plans that would deepen our understanding and relationships with our customers, which in turn will inform sales and go-to-market actions, influence product decisions, and strategically architect marketing campaigns that generate demand for Pantone products and services, enhance brand awareness and engagement while safeguarding our beloved brand.

THIS JOB IS A UNIQUE OPPORTUNITY TO:

WITHIN YOUR ROLE, YOU WILL:

  • Lead a team of Product Marketers with strong industry knowledge to develop and execute comprehensive product marketing plans and campaigns to drive awareness, adoption, and sales of Pantone’s products and services.
  • Build, implement, and optimize proven product marketing processes, including repeatable frameworks and models for communication that enables the team to build a deep understanding of the customer’s needs and pain points, key personas, and the profile and makeup of the current and ideal buyer base and clearly articulate findings to company stakeholders to influence critical business decisions.
  • Identify and bring a thoughtful and data-driven point of view to the leadership team by understanding key market trends, competitive forces, and critical markets to serve supported with TAM/SAM and other market analyses that would help the team vet opportunities, assess risks, and seek product-market fit.
  • Develop compelling messaging and positioning frameworks, tailored to each of Pantone’s product and services segments and translate into thoughtful go-to-market plans with defined key success metrics.
  • Work collaboratively with key stakeholders to design campaign concepts that would fit within allocated budget. Write creative briefs that clearly articulate campaign vision and goals and work collaboratively with the Marketing Operations team to ensure deliverables achieve desired results.
  • Work with product managers and tech team, representing the customer and bridging communication within the organization.
  • Regularly set goals, measure KPIs, and continuously monitoring and analyzing metrics to adapt strategies as needed to optimize campaign effectiveness and achieve business goals.
  • Work closely with the Product Management team to plan and cross-functionally manage the launch of new products and features, coordinating across departments to ensure a seamless and impactful launch.
  • Partner with Marketing Operations and Digital Marketing teams to develop and execute event strategies, email marketing, and various demand generation and customer acquisition programs.
  • Partner with sales channel owners (high-touch and eCommerce) to create a cadence of campaigns and programs to increase the sales pipeline and/or boost converting traffic.
  • Assist regional commercial teams in optimizing their product marketing schedules and implementations, including the localization of messaging and the development of exclusive products and campaigns.
  • Work closely with Finance and the President to gain approval for the marketing budget required to deliver effective and cost-efficient marketing campaigns.
  • Promote continuous cross-departmental collaboration and be an excellent communicator to ensure 360 alignment on critical business decisions and status and results of projects.
  • Adopt an ownership mentality, continuously identify improvement areas, and inspire the team to enhance customer experience and business outcomes.

Stay current with the latest marketing trends and technologies and provide thought leadership to the organization.

US ONLY:

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.

The compensation range for this role is $155000 - $175000 USD per year.
