The Director of Marketing, Business Development will enhance revenue growth for Continental by supporting the Sales Team with marketing strategies, proposal development, and campaign management.
Description
- Position Overview: This marketing position supports revenue growth for Continental by supporting the Sales Team through building a strong customer value proposition and providing the them with the support and information they need to be successful. Reporting to VP Marketing, the Director Marketing, Business Development, will strategically support the Business Development team with Sales and Marketing.
Supporting the goal of meeting (exceeding) sales goals for the Business Development & Events Team through:
- Salesforce and CRM Proficiency
- Provide marketing support to the Business Development Team, Events and Strategic Account Leaders through:
- Preparing weekly and monthly reports
- Coordinating sales efforts with marketing programs
- Managing an open flow of communication between the Business Development Team and Marketing
- Maintain an active, working understanding of the Continental brand mission, technology road map, operatonal standards and service offerings
WHO YOU ARE
- Self-starter who can work independently on several projects simultaneously, and can contribute to functional areas of the business
- Exceptional problem solving skills with the ability to analyze and interpret marketing programs, contracts, financial reports, technical and operational data
- Ability to translate technical knowledge and the requirements into clear and concise communications for a diverse range of stakeholders both internal and external.
- Adept at identifying and resolving problems timely and effectively
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to accept work assignments that could require additional training
- Adaptable to changes in priorities, assignments, environment, process and methods while maintaining a positive attitude and enthusiasm with all team members
- Personal values align with the company’s values and culture.
- Handle confidential information from customers and vendors with due care and proper ethical consideration.
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- 3+ years experience managing digital marketing preferably in a B2B organization
