Proper Hospitality is seeking an analytically rigorous and outcome-oriented Director of Growth and Performance Marketing to lead our customer acquisition and retention strategies.
This senior-level position will be responsible for developing, implementing and overseeing data-driven marketing initiatives to accelerate growth, increase bookings and enhance customer lifetime value across our portfolio of luxury properties.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive growth marketing strategies across multiple channels, aligning with overall business objectives and brand positioning
- Drive data-driven decision-making by leveraging advanced analytics to continuously optimize marketing campaigns and improve ROI
- Lead a culture of continuous improvement through test-and-learn methodologies, developing hypotheses, designing experiments and scaling successful initiatives
- Optimize the entire customer journey, from acquisition to retention, focusing on improving conversion rates, reducing customer acquisition costs, and increasing LTV
- Collaborate with executives and cross-functional teams across the portfolio to ensure cohesive messaging and maintain brand integrity in all growth marketing initiatives
- Partner with our data team on the selection, implementation, and optimization of the marketing tech stack, including CRM, marketing automation and analytics tools
- Establish and monitor KPIs to measure the effectiveness of growth marketing initiatives and regularly report on performance to the executive team
- Stay at the forefront of digital marketing trends and best practices (in hospitality and beyond); implement innovative strategies to maintain a competitive edge
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field
- 7+ years of experience in growth marketing or performance marketing roles
- Proven track record of driving significant growth in customer acquisition and retention, preferably in e-commerce
- Demonstrated expertise in developing and executing test-and-learn strategies, with a proven track record of turning data-driven hypotheses into measurable business results
- Excellent leadership, project management, and communication skills
- Strategic problem-solving abilities and a growth mindset
