Job description

The Director of Marketing will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies that align with our business goals. This role requires exceptional problem-solving abilities and strong project management skills to navigate challenges and ensure successful campaign execution.

FLSA: Exempt

Duties Include:

· Strategic Leadership: Collaborate with the CEO and VP of Operations to analyze current marketing strategies and develop innovative practices that elevate our brand.

· Problem Solving: Identify marketing challenges and develop creative solutions to address them, leveraging data-driven insights and market research.

· Project Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and evaluation of marketing projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.

· Team Development: Lead and inspire a talented marketing team, fostering collaboration and driving impactful results.

· Data-Driven Insights: Partner with the Digital Marketing Associate to leverage Google Analytics, assessing online marketing performance and recommending data-driven improvements.

· Brand Representation: Champion our brand by creating engaging promotional materials and swag, ensuring a consistent and memorable presence. Additionally, oversee the marketing team at trade shows to maximize our impact and engagement with potential clients.

· Audience Expansion: Analyze client data to identify shifts in customer demographics and propose strategies for broadening our target audience.

· Content Creation: Assist in crafting press releases, managing email campaigns, managing social media campaigns, and overseeing legal associations and award nominations.

· Quality Assurance: Review and edit marketing copy for accuracy and style.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or related field preferred.

Experience:

  • At least four years of related experience

Skills:

  • Strong communication skills and outgoing personality.
  • Creative problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of best SEO practices and Google Analytics.
  • Experience managing company social media accounts.
  • Ability to use PowerPoint, Adobe, SlideShare and similar software, preferred.
  • Self-starter, capable of working effectively with a team and individually.

OTHER IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Supervisors – Reports to the Vice President of Operations

Status – Full-time, Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.

Location – Beautiful office environment at the Segerstrom Performing Arts Center, across from South Coast Plaza.

Salary – Starting at $100k, depending on experience.
