Position Summary

We seek an experienced, data-driven Marketing Director to lead our marketing efforts. This role is ideal for someone with a broad set of experiences and expertise, with a proven background in research, analysis, competitor insights, Amazon setup and sales, A/B testing, and email strategy.

The Marketing Director will be responsible for developing, executing, and refining strategies to drive customer acquisition, retention, and brand loyalty. Reporting to the CMO, you will play a key role in best positioning our products suited for a highly competitive supplement market and longevity category.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-depth research on customer segments, market trends, and competitor products
  • Analyze market dynamics to identify opportunities for differentiation and growth
  • Lead and optimize our Amazon presence, including listing optimization, keyword strategy, images, language, pricing strategy, and competitor analysis
  • Implement Amazon-specific strategies to improve ranking, increase reviews, drive product sales.
  • Lead on identification of key influencers and like-minded brand partnerships
  • Responsible for helping to better merchandise our site through bundling, best sellers, and intuitive navigation and collection management
  • Develop actionable insights to inform strategic marketing decisions
  • Own and analyze marketing KPIs, including new and returning customers, subscription take rates, Amazon performance metrics, and A/B test results
  • Weekly reporting of marketing performance, past results, and future planning
  • Develop, execute, optimize A/B tests for PDPs, landing pages, email, Amazon creative, and others
  • Interpret and action test results, adjust tactics to enhance engagement, conversion, and UX
  • Assist in email marketing strategy, from planning + segmentation to content creation
  • Optimize email workflows to drive engagement, nurture leads, and maximize customer retention
  • Leverage customer data to create detailed personas and segments for targeted marketing
  • Implement strategies to increase personalization and relevance across all touchpoints

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in marketing, with a preference for direct-to-consumer
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with A/B testing and data-driven marketing
  • Proficiency with data platforms, analytics tools, and reporting systems
  • Organized and able to steward projects from start to finish
  • Able to prioritize business needs and activities, yet flexible enough to redirect when necessary
  • Collaborator and strong cross-functional influencer, fostering healthy relationships and rapport
  • Proven experience with Amazon brand management; setting KPIs, tracking and optimizing results, driving bottom-line growth
  • In-depth understanding of Amazon's algorithms, product listing strategies, and ranking tactics
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and information presentation skills—critically important to role
