Step Saver Companies is seeking a strong and driven Director of Sales and Marketing.

At Step Saver Companies, we are Commercial Water Treatment Professionals. We have a unique niche market in the water treatment industry. We also offer a variety of salt products and pumping systems. We are seeking to expand our market visibility in the Northern Utah, Las Vegas and S. California regions.

Support is provided by a team of experienced drivers and service technicians, a hands-on management group, and a comprehensive sales and marketing program to support your efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Present, promote and sell products/services using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers
  • Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their needs
  • Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships
  • Reach out to customer leads through cold calling
  • Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule
  • Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
  • Review current marketing trends and advertisements to determine the effectiveness of different styles and strategies
  • Analyze sales numbers in comparison to the marketing budget in order to find the profit margin and which campaigns were most effective
  • Research competitors to stay current with similar products or services on the market
  • Create and maintain a successful brand and image that attracts customers to the product or service
  • Work with Media Company creating design, and placement traditional media ads on social media ads and email blasts

Requirements

  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office
  • Familiarity with BRM and CRM practices along with ability to build productive business professional relationships
  • Excellent selling, communication and negotiation skills
  • Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs
  • Relationship management skills and openness to feedback
  • BS/BA degree in Marketing and/or Sales are beneficial

Experience in water treatment industry a plus

Benefits include:

  • Base Salary of $70,000 plus monthly commissions. Current potential reflects an additional $50,000 +
