We sell high-quality products directly to consumers through our Shopify store, and we’re looking for an experienced and motivated E-Commerce Marketing & Sales Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in digital marketing, sales strategy, and driving customer acquisition in a fast-paced e-commerce environment.
Job Description:
As an E-Commerce Marketing & Sales Specialist, you will play a key role in driving the success of our online sales through strategic marketing efforts. You will manage our marketing campaigns, optimize product listings, and help grow our customer base, all while delivering an exceptional shopping experience. Your efforts will directly impact sales growth, customer retention, and brand visibility.
Key Responsibilities:
Marketing Strategy Development:
- Develop and implement comprehensive digital marketing strategies to increase traffic and sales on our Shopify store.
- Analyze market trends, customer behavior, and competitors to create tailored marketing campaigns.
- Set clear objectives, KPIs, and metrics to measure campaign effectiveness.
Social Media & Paid Advertising:
- Create, manage, and optimize social media marketing campaigns on platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and Pinterest.
- Run targeted paid advertising campaigns (Facebook Ads, Google Ads, etc.) to attract and convert potential customers.
- Monitor ad performance, adjust strategies, and report results.
Email Marketing & Automation:
- Design and implement effective email marketing campaigns (newsletters, promotions, product launches, etc.) using platforms like Klaviyo or Mailchimp.
- Build automated workflows to engage customers at various stages of their buying journey (welcome emails, abandoned cart reminders, re-engagement).
Content Creation & SEO:
- Develop engaging content (blogs, social media posts, videos) to attract and inform potential customers.
- Optimize product listings for SEO to ensure maximum visibility in search engines and on Shopify.
Sales Funnel Optimization:
- Monitor and analyze the entire sales funnel from traffic acquisition to conversion and repeat purchases.
- Implement A/B testing on landing pages, product pages, and checkout process to increase conversion rates.
Customer Retention & Engagement:
- Implement strategies for customer retention, including loyalty programs, follow-up emails, and post-purchase engagement.
- Monitor customer feedback and reviews to ensure high satisfaction and address issues proactively.
Analytics & Reporting:
- Use tools such as Google Analytics, Shopify Analytics, and social media insights to track performance and optimize strategies.
- Provide regular reports on sales performance, ROI of marketing campaigns, and customer insights to management.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with the operations and inventory teams to ensure stock levels align with marketing efforts and promotions.
- Collaborate with customer service teams to ensure excellent customer support and smooth post-sale experiences.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in e-commerce marketing, preferably within a Shopify environment.
- Strong knowledge of digital marketing tools (Google Ads, Facebook/Instagram Ads, TikTok Ads, Klaviyo, etc.).
- Experience in SEO, content marketing, and email automation.
- Solid understanding of the customer journey and how to optimize for conversions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organized and capable of managing multiple campaigns and projects simultaneously.
- Ability to analyze data, generate insights, and make data-driven decisions.
- Knowledge of Shopify, Google Analytics, and other e-commerce platforms is a plus.
- Creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box and come up with innovative strategies.
- A passion for sales and marketing and a drive to meet and exceed goals.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with influencer marketing and partnerships.
- Familiarity with using customer relationship management (CRM) tools.
