QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Computer Science, or equivalent work experience; proficiency in web development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript); 2+ years experience with Google Ads, analytics, and managing eCommerce websites.

SHORT DESCRIPTION
The E-Commerce Programmer leads content innovation and optimization efforts, managing Shopify and online marketing while ensuring effective communication and brand strategy.
SUMMARY
The E-Commerce Programmer spearheads and drives content by innovation and optimization efforts. The position will oversee all aspects of marketing / advertising communications while maintaining Shopify website development. The position requires a strong background in Shopify development and creative visually appealing, responsive, and user-friendly pages. We value clear communication and expect prompt updates throughout the process.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to the following:
- Deliver original concepts that result in effective, compelling communication.
- Capable of establishing and implementing a brand tone and guidelines across a campaign.
- Conceptualize and write campaigns for print, online and social media marketing against defined strategic platforms.
- Develop new product strategy, roadmap and key milestones to bring a fast-growing portfolio of our brands
- Manage all outbound Email marketing. Specifically writing compelling email subject lines and attention-grabbing content.
- Manage Amazon and Walmart storefront and product pages. Create landing pages, quizzes, and forms.
- Develop quality test variations utilizing JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, and CSS
- Gather and analyze marketplace data to identify consumer & shopping trends, new product ideas. Must have a demonstrated understanding of data collection and analysis
- Regular production of editorial stories which includes pieces, snapshots, product reviews, features and in-depth buyer’s guides
- Assist in monitoring and reporting on industry and competitive trends, campaign initiatives, and community optimization
- Ensure channel strategy plans support overall brand goals and objectives communicated from client
- Summarize insights and listening observations to help create reports that lead to the optimization of social platforms
- Improve advertising return on investment (ROI) through the use of channel and funnel-specific copy
- Manage all account health and inventory controls.
- Manage all vendor relationships and contracts
- Drives engagement and conversion by demonstrating site optimization, SEO, merchandising, new content as well as the implementation of site features and improvements
- Assist with Marketing support, campaigns, brand engagement and brand awareness
- Complete special projects and any other duties as assigned

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Computer Science, or equivalent work experience.
- Proficiency in web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and experience with e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify)
- 2+ years of Google ads and Analytic
- 2+ years of experience with managing and optimizing an eCommerce or direct to consumer websites
- Ability to work effectively independently and in a team environment; excellent time management skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize deadlines.
- Strong communication skills and able to handle rejection

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
