Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and versatile E-Commerce Sales and Marketing Manager to manage all aspects of our online clothing store's sales and marketing operations in partnership with various stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in optimizing e-commerce sales and marketing processes while simultaneously driving growth and enhancing customer experience, performance marketing, conversion optimization, and Shopify e-commerce platforms. This role requires a blend of analytical skills and creative thinking to drive traffic, improve user experience, and ultimately increase sales. The ideal candidate will directly shape the growth trajectory of a thriving brand.

Key Stakeholder Deliverables:

As the E-Commerce Sales and Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for leading our web strategy, partnering with the E-Commerce Operations Manager in the day-to-day operations of our online store, and driving sales growth. As the sole sales and marketing leader, you will drive end-to-end strategy and execution to grow revenue, optimize customer acquisition, and enhance brand loyalty. This role merges analytical rigor with creative flair, requiring expertise in digital marketing, sales optimization, and e-commerce platform management. This role demands a **unicorn candidate** who blends analytical precision with creative marketing instincts, thrives in a solo-player environment, and has a track record of scaling e-commerce brands.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy & Revenue Growth:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive e-commerce strategies to drive sales and revenue growth
  • Set and meet key performance indicators (KPIs) for the website
  • Improve conversion rates (CVR)
  • Monitor and analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities
  • Develop and execute sales plans to meet annual revenue targets, focusing on conversion rate optimization (CRO), average order value (AOV), and customer lifetime value (CLV).
  • Manage pricing strategies, promotions, and inventory forecasting to align with demand trends.
  • Analyze sales data to identify growth opportunities (e.g., cross-selling, upselling) and mitigate risks.

Website Management:

  • Oversee the overall development and maintenance of our e-commerce platform
  • Ensure smooth operation of the website, conducting regular audits and troubleshooting issues
  • Optimize user experience and implement updates to attract and retain customers
  • Partner with the E-commerce Operations Manager in managing product listings, inventory, and pricing

Digital Marketing & Campaign Management:

  • Coordinate promotional efforts to grow the business and increase customer engagement.
  • Utilize SEO tools and methods to optimize the website for search engines
  • Track and measure program effectiveness to drive improvements
  • Lead omnichannel marketing campaigns (email, SEO/SEM, social media, influencer partnerships) to drive traffic and conversions.
  • Create and optimize paid ad campaigns (Google Ads, Meta, TikTok) focusing on ROI.
  • Oversee content strategy, including product descriptions, blog posts, and visual assets (photos/videos), to ensure brand consistency.

Content Creation and Management:

  • Develop compelling email marketing campaigns, website graphics, and social media ads
  • Ensure website merchandising is up to date with new product launches
  • Create and manage product descriptions, blog posts, and other marketing content
  • Oversee brand consistency across all digital platforms

E-Commerce Platform Management:

  • Own end-to-end website operations (Shopify or similar), including UX/UI design, product listings, and checkout optimization.
  • Conduct A/B testing for landing pages, CTAs, and merchandising layouts to improve conversion rates.
  • Ensure site security, mobile responsiveness, and compliance with payment gateways.

Customer Experience & Retention:

  • Partners with the E-Commerce Operations Manager manageing the entire customer experience, from acquisition to retention, implement and oversee customer service initiatives
  • Analyze customer feedback and behavior to improve satisfaction and loyalty
  • Implement loyalty programs, email drip campaigns, and personalized retargeting strategies.
  • Monitor customer reviews, feedback, and returns to refine the shopping experience.
  • Collaborate with customer service providers to resolve issues and maintain high satisfaction scores.

7. Analytics & Reporting:

  • Monitor and analyze website analytics, sales data, and marketing campaign performance.
  • Prepare regular reports on key metrics, including sales, traffic, and customer behavior.
  • Use data-driven insights to inform decision-making and strategy adjustments.
  • Track KPIs (traffic, conversion rates, CAC, ROAS) using Google Analytics, Shopify Reports, and CRM tools.
  • Present monthly performance reports to leadership, highlighting wins, challenges, and actionable insights.

8. Inventory and Supply Chain Management:

  • Partner with the E-Commerce Operations Manager, collaborate with suppliers, oversee order fulfillment shipping processes, identify and resolve any supply chain issues that may impact sales, and manage inventory level

9. Budget & Vendor Management

  • Allocate and manage an annual budget across marketing channels and tools.
  • Negotiate with agencies, influencers, and third-party platforms (e.g., Amazon, Instagram Shopping).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
