E-Commerce Specialist
LOCATION
Raleigh, NC (eligible for part-time telework; must reside in NC)
QUALIFICATIONS
Associate’s degree in a related field, 2+ years of Software QA or related experience, strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, experience in developing and executing end-to-end testing plans, familiarity with AGILE and Waterfall methodologies.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure the integrity of web software products, author test plans, collaborate with teams to optimize user experience and system functionality, resolve technical support issues, and conduct routine reviews against various system metrics.

The eCommerce Specialist will enhance the digital experience for visitors, ensuring software quality and user satisfaction while supporting the North Carolina Education Lottery’s growing digital gaming initiatives.

The eCommerce Specialist will work to ensure the integrity of our web software products. The QA Analyst will construct and maintain testing processes, lend insight for user-experience and quality concerns in the scope of our web and app products including our partner integrations.
Responsibilities:
- Review documented software requirements and specifications to author test plans suitable for functional and user experience testing in the Product Development Team. Maintain test plans and evaluate these against software produced by the Web Development, partner producers, and integrations as supported by Web Development, where applicable.
- Participate and coordinate with our Gaming Systems QA Team’s efforts and JIRA reporting system, both as an active participant, internal partner, and liaison for the Product Development Team with respect to our partner team in Gaming Systems.
- Plan, review and test content with a strong sense of user experience and functional perspectives.
- Collaborate with Senior Web Developers / Architects to understand overall system functionality, integration points, and partner systems.
- Collaborate with the Product Development Team to facilitate systems alignments, stakeholder interests, and scheduling, with the Project Manager and Digital Strategist.
- Collaborate with Senior Web Developers / Architects in creating, maintaining, and advancing systems documentation.
- Assist in tracking and resolving Tier 3 technical support issues with team members
- Administer and perform routine reviews against: test systems, production systems, accounts access control reviews, auditing requirements reviews, security reviews, SEO reviews, integrity and performance testing reviews.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of software quality assurance best practices methodologies, and the complete software development lifecycle; including proper terminology.
- Experience developing and executing end-to-end testing plans and cases, with emphasis on user experience (UX) stories and creating test cases.
- Skilled and experienced in troubleshooting software related issues.
- Ability to effectively interpret technical documentation and specifications.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Strong analytic thinking skills with the ability to make sound decisions.
- Experience testing web and app-based software.
- Ability to effectively communicate in written and verbal format.
- Must work well independently, be self-driven, and enjoy working within a team.
- Familiarity and flexibility to work within development methodologies including; AGILE, Waterfall, ad-hoc.
- Associates degree in related field.
- 2+ Years of Software QA or related experience
- Skill in assessing Google Tag Manager implementations and related Analytics support and reporting preferred.

Hiring Rate: $61,804 (this exempt position will be filled at or near the posted salary, DOE)
