SHORT DESCRIPTION
As the Ecommerce Merchandising Manager at St. John Knits, you will enhance the customer journey by managing site merchandising and collaborating across teams to optimize product launch strategies and improve site engagement.
As the Ecommerce Merchandising Manager for St. John Knits you will be at the heart of our brand's digital evolution. You will lead on-site merchandising to craft a seamless consumer journey, enhancing site engagement, product discovery, conversion, and the overall customer experience through sophisticated storytelling and strategic merchandising.
In this dynamic role, you will oversee new product launches, leveraging product insights and advanced personalization tools to make informed recommendations. You will manage the mix of business, editorial and content page launches, and the meticulous merchandising of Product Detail and Product Listing Pages. By analyzing sales data, you will refine the shopping experience and make strategic decisions that drive results.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Serve as a liaison between the eCommerce, Buying, Planning, and Design teams.
- Lead and strategize both short and long-term plans for content and merchandising on stjohnknits.com, driving the eCommerce business while ensuring a best-in-class customer experience.
- Coordinate with the eCommerce, design, and marketing teams to develop and implement strategies for new product launches, focusing on engaging site content, personalized storytelling, and merchandising tools based on product positioning and target audience.
- Collaborate with marketing, buying, and design teams to plan and develop top-tier on-site assets and landing pages for all onsite promotions. Influence campaign concepts by championing content that drives engagement and purchase intent.
- Work with the eCommerce and Creative teams to keep the site updated with new products and collections, making necessary adjustments to boost sales and customer engagement.
- Create and manage a comprehensive site content calendar to ensure the eCommerce team stays aligned and collaborates effectively with other departments.
- Oversee the product merchandising strategy to ensure products are organized effectively, balancing business mix, inventory levels, and brand priorities.
- Monitor analytics, evaluate campaign success, and suggest improvements based on performance data.
- Stay up-to-date with eCommerce trends, including competitor sites, merchandising tools, and personalization applications.
- Assist with site quality assurance and content/product updates as needed.
- Drive and oversee strategies for St. John's luxury eCommerce collections, ensuring a seamless blend of premium full-price offerings and sale items to elevate the brand's online presence and customer experience.
- Lead and manage strategies for luxury eCommerce products at full price and product-focused flash sales for outlet items.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY
- This role does not oversee any direct reports

Education and Experience:
- 4-5 years of experience in the eCommerce industry, with recent experience as an eCommerce Site Merchandiser for a fashion brand.
- Proficiency in website management, site merchandising, digital marketing, and enhancing customer experiences.
- Experience with ShopifyPlus, including expertise in merchandising on the platform.
- Experience utilizing Monetate or similar personalization software to make data-driven recommendations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong merchandising skills, including product development, pricing, inventory management, and positioning.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- High level of interaction with data and Excel spreadsheets; knowledge of Google Analytics is a plus.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Creative thinking skills to differentiate products and craft compelling site content.
- Bachelor's degree in merchandising, marketing, or related field preferred
