Objectives

As the eCommerce Channel Specialist, you’ll report to the Senior eCommerce Channel Marketing Manager and oversee daily operations to drive sales growth, enhance brand visibility, and optimize the online shopping experience. This role involves strategic planning, digital campaign execution, data analysis, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless eCommerce operations and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Channel Management: Oversee assigned eCommerce marketplaces, ensuring accurate listings, pricing, quantities, and content.
  • Buyer/Merchant Relationship Management: Establish and nurture relationships with retailer buyers and merchants, scheduling regular touchpoints to align on strategy.
  • E-commerce Platform Optimization: Update and optimize product listings, including visuals and SEO, to drive engagement and sales.
  • Strategy Development: Implement pricing and promotional strategies tailored to market trends and customer acquisition goals.
  • Forecasting and Pricing: Support sales forecasting and assist with the development of competitive pricing strategies.
  • Brand Awareness: Lead digital marketing campaigns to boost visibility across eCommerce platforms.
  • Digital Marketing Campaigns: Plan, execute, and monitor PPC and display ad campaigns, adjusting tactics based on performance insights.
  • Competitor Analysis: Regularly review market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and mitigate threats.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze sales and customer data to inform strategies and improve marketplace performance.
  • Project Management: Coordinate projects for channel optimization, website updates, and other initiatives.
  • Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams: Partner with teams like sales, marketing, IT, and customer service to ensure integrated eCommerce efforts.
  • P&L Management: Track category/SKU performance, identify cost-saving measures, and recommend action on obsolete inventory.
  • Problem Resolution: Address operational issues efficiently, resolving technical, processing, or customer concerns.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years in online channel management, with 3+ years in marketing management, PPC, and display ad campaign execution.
  • Proficient with online marketplaces (e.g., Walmart, eBay, Home Depot) and advanced Microsoft Office skills.
  • Strong analytical skills for interpreting sales data, market trends, and customer insights.
  • Financial acumen to manage P&L for marketplace performance.
  • Effective communicator with proven project management abilities.
  • A proactive, problem-solving mindset and adaptability to changing market conditions.
  • Background in consumer electronics or product marketing is a plus.
