As we continue to grow, we're looking for a talented and creative Social Media and Email Marketing Specialist to join our team and help us expand our reach and engagement for our magazines and our clients.

Role Overview: We are seeking a motivated Social Media and Email Marketing Specialist to manage and execute our social media and email marketing strategies. This role is perfect for someone who is creative, analytical and has a strong understanding of digital marketing trends. You’ll play a crucial role in building our brand’s online presence, engaging with our audience, and driving traffic to our website and digital magazine.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and manage social media strategies across various platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.).
  • Create and curate engaging and relevant content for social media channels, including graphics, videos, and blog posts.
  • Monitor social media channels for industry trends, audience engagement, and competitive analysis.
  • Plan, execute, and analyze email marketing campaigns to drive engagement, subscriptions, and conversions.
  • Maintain and update email lists, segment audiences, and personalize campaigns for maximum impact.
  • Track and report on key performance metrics for both social media and email marketing efforts.
  • Collaborate with the editorial and design teams to align content with overall marketing strategies.
  • Respond to audience comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest social media and email marketing trends and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in social media management and email marketing, preferably in the publishing or media industry.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, email marketing tools (e.g., Mailchimp, Constant Contact), and analytics tools (Google Analytics, social media insights, etc.).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to produce visually appealing content.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic graphic design skills (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) are a plus.
