Email Marketing Specialist
LOCATION
Minneapolis, MN. Work in a professional office environment and sports arena, including attendance at all Wolves home games and external events.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required, 1-3 years of experience in Email Marketing preferred, strong written and verbal communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite. Knowledge of HTML and experience with email marketing platforms like Adobe Marketo Engage is preferred.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist in planning and executing email campaigns, organize email sends, collaborate with teams on automated sequences, create visually appealing emails, proofread and test campaigns, track performance, and ensure compliance with industry regulations.

Position Summary/Objective:
Join one of the most innovative teams in pro sports where your role will grow and support all email marketing campaign efforts for the Minnesota Timberwolves and Lynx.
Essential Functions

1. Assist the Manager of Email Marketing in planning and executing all email communication for the Minnesota Timberwolves and Lynx.
2. Assist the Manager of Email Marketing in organizing and calendaring sends.
3. Collaborate with the Business Intelligence team to set up forms and automated email sequences.
4. Work with the Creative team to make emails look pixel perfect and photoshoot fresh.
5. Help proofread and test email sends.
6. Track, analyze and report on email campaigns.
7. Ensure all email marketing campaigns comply with industry standards and regulations.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Other:
1. Strong written and verbal communication skills required. Copywriting experience is preferred.
2. Computer skills required: experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook) is required. Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite preferred.
3. Experience working with Adobe Marketo Engage or similar email marketing platform is preferred. Experience in developing dynamic content and email automation is preferred.
4. Experience working with HTML is required.
5. Able to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays.
6. Ability to work well on a team and independently.
7. Ability to manage specific processes and tasks in the department under supervision.

Experience:
Minimum 1-3 years of experience in Email Marketing strongly preferred.
Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.

Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary: The base salary range for this exempt role is $55,000-65,000. Final offers for this role will be made within the parameters of the salary range provided. Years of experience, skills, and other factors are considered when determining the salary offered. Total compensation & offer package will include the following:
Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. In addition to working office hours, staff will be required to work all Wolves home games as well as external events including, but not limited to, charity functions, networking events, etc. Work is both sedentary and active in nature, and the working environment is favorable. Work is generally performed within an office environment, with standard office equipment available. This job also operates in a sports arena which includes bleachers/steps as well as moderate to high levels of noise.
Physical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate and exchange information with others both in person and over the telephone. The employee frequently is required to remain in a stationary position, as well as operate computers and other office equipment, such as a copy machine, printer and telephone. Staff will frequently ascend and descend bleachers/steps and traverse around the arena both on event days and non-event days. Staff may occasionally move objects weighing up to 15 pounds
Travel Position may require travel to external events.
