SHORT DESCRIPTION

Seeking an Email & Promotions Marketing Manager to expand digital marketing efforts and drive B2C e-commerce sales for Spellbinders Paper Arts, managing promotional execution and collaborating across departments.

Spellbinders Paper Arts recently acquired the Hero Arts brand, and we need a Email & Promotions Marketing Manager! We’re looking to expand our digital marketing team to help drive our B2C ecommerce sales channel. This role will manage all email, SMS, and promotional execution on our B2C website. This role will have high visibility and will interact with various departments including the executive team, sales, customer service, product development, shipping, supply chain, creative, legal, and others. Must be a team player and have the ability to articulate and champion marketing best practices and standards.

Key Job Duties/Responsibilities

  • Manage email, SMS, and on-site promotional merchandising strategy for multiple ecommerce stores/brands.
  • Will be responsible for writing copy and collaborating with the marketing & graphic design team to design email, SMS, and on-site merchandising assets.
  • Will help build out and manage a detailed automated email flows to drive maximum revenue.
  • Will implement an evolved lead profiling or scoring system to evaluate activity, engagement and affinity as well as recommending how to prioritize leads accordingly.

  • Drive A/B testing and optimization to improve email effectiveness.
  • Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs).
  • Identify trends and insights and optimize spend and performance based on the insights.
  • Brainstorm new and creative growth strategies.
  • Utilize strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points.
  • Collaborate with outside agencies and other vendor partners
  • Evaluate emerging technologies. Provide thought leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate.

Requirements

  • 3+ Years of relevant email marketing or ecommerce experience
  • BS degree in marketing or a related field preferred
  • Must have a solid understanding of ESP, ecommerce platforms, current marketing apps, tools, and strategies and be able to lead integrated digital marketing campaigns from concept to execution. Marketing manager will work with the supporting teams to launch campaigns on time and on budget.
  • At least 1+ year of experience in Shopify and Klaviyo preferred.
  • Must have a solid knowledge of how to manipulate data from various lists and database sources; csv and .xls files for segmented campaigns and ensuring the data is accurately mapped, tested and optimized.
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate
  • Experience in working Microsoft Suite & Adobe Creative Suite software
  • Experience with email platforms & marketing automations tools preferred
  • Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, etc.)
  • Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
