Role Summary:
Prairie Cannabis is an exciting and dynamic Cannabis Dispensary looking for an innovative and thoughtful leader to fill the role of Emerging Agent in Charge. Emerging Responsibilities:
- Onboarding & Training: Collaborate with the General Manager and dispensary Agents in Charge to support the onboarding experience for new hires. Facilitate and document annual training, distributing plans and assigning schedules.
- Compliance Monitoring: Ensure all team members renew their agent badges on time and maintain adherence to marketing guidelines for signage.
- Promotions & Communication: Provide support for all promotions, ensuring effective communication of details and management of daily/weekly deals on displays.
- Inventory Management: Keep the vault organized, perform daily inventory checks, and address discrepancies. Oversee product destruction and ensure timely sales of items nearing expiration; ensure products are properly labeled and stored.
- Sales Coordination: Maintain an updated delivery calendar, ensuring products are ready for sale within 24 hours. Manage accessory stock and confirm availability for promotions.
- Review Strategy: Drive efforts to boost positive reviews on platforms like Google, Yelp, and Leafly.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, acting as a knowledgeable and approachable resource.
- Answer questions and provide information about cannabis products, making recommendations based on customer preferences, needs, and desired effects.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest cannabis strains, products, and consumption methods.
- Understand the differences between various strains (indica, sativa, hybrid) and their effects; educate customers on proper dosage and consumption methods.
- Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally.
- Complete and submit required reports and documentation in accordance with State and company regulations.
- Lead, train, and motivate a team of budtenders to deliver outstanding customer service; foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork and employee growth.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dispensary.
- Additional duties as assigned by company leadership.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, heavily regulated environment.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Retail experience preferred.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping.
- Flexibility to work required evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.
- Ability to handle responsibilities without direct supervision.
- Must be 21 years of age and ability to pass State required background qualifications.

Pay: $18.00 - $19.50 per hour
