Job Opportunity: Event Support / Social Media & Email Marketing

Mountain West Medical Clinic is seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to join our team as Event Support and Social Media & Email Marketing Specialist. If you're looking for a flexible part-time role that combines event coordination with creative marketing tasks, we’d love to hear from you!

What You'll Do

Event Support

• Provide support at our Utah Grown Cannabis Card Drives every Tuesday and Wednesday in downtown Salt Lake City.
• Assist patients from all walks of life with patience, care, and professionalism.
• Take photos during events for use on social media (no prior photography experience needed).
• Help ensure events run smoothly and create a welcoming atmosphere for all attendees.

Social Media & Email Marketing

• Collaborate on and grow our weekly newsletter for patients.
• Tasks include setting up renewal reminders, creating one-off marketing promotions, and sending reactivation offers.
• Assist in building engaging social media content to connect with our audience and showcase events.
• Experience with Mailchimp or other email marketing platforms is a plus!

What We’re Looking For

• A patient and caring individual who is comfortable working around medical cannabis.
• Someone who is tech-savvy and comfortable learning new tools.
• Strong communication skills and a creative eye for social media.
• Experience in email marketing or social media management is a bonus but not required.
• Flexibility and willingness to take on a variety of tasks.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 15 per week
