Job Overview: We are looking for a highly organized and motivated Event Assistant to support the planning and execution of a wide range of events. The ideal candidate will have a passion for event planning, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. As an Event Assistant, you will be responsible for helping with logistics, coordinating with vendors, managing event materials, and ensuring everything runs smoothly before, during, and after events.
Key Responsibilities:
Event Planning Support: Assist in the coordination and execution of events, including conferences, trade shows, meetings, and social events.
Vendor Management: Communicate with vendors, venues, and suppliers to ensure timely deliveries, setups, and service.
Logistics Management: Help with event setup, including arranging seating, decorations, signage, and equipment.
Event Materials & Supplies: Help prepare and organize materials, programs, badges, giveaways, and other event-related items.
On-Site Support: Provide on-site support during events, handling any issues that may arise, troubleshooting, and ensuring smooth operations.
Administrative Tasks: Maintain accurate records of event details, vendor contracts, and attendee information.
Post-Event Follow-Up: Help with post-event activities such as sending thank-you notes, collecting feedback, and analyzing event performance.
High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree in Event Planning, Hospitality, Marketing, or related field preferred.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and event management software.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
