Position Summary:

As the Events Coordinator, you will play a key role in driving the success of the organization’s sales efforts by executing impactful and well-coordinated events. Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, manage, and execute tradeshows, conferences, field marketing activities, and virtual events across all markets
  • Ensure all event materials are prepared, and logistics are handled efficiently, including venue selection, shipping and receiving promotional items, etc.
  • Coordinate event deliverables, including event messaging, promotional materials (collateral, swag), and lead tracking tools
  • Collaborate with the AVP of Marketing to set the strategy, objectives, and budget for each event
  • Identify resources and work with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams to execute events within the budget and timeframes
  • Create in-person and virtual event campaigns, including content for registration pages, emails, and social media promotions
  • Develop and implement an effective marketing plan to promote events, maximizing engagement and results
  • Assist in promoting event messaging through all marketing channels, ensuring consistent and effective communication
  • Research potential event locations and facility capabilities, and visit venues as needed, to ensure they meet event requirements prior to making recommendations to the AVP of Marketing
  • Assist with venue contract negotiations, food and beverage arrangements, and ordering supplies, signage, and equipment
  • Organize booth giveaways, raffle items, and event collateral and manage shipping logistics to ensure timely delivery before and after events
  • Provide on-site event management support when required, ensuring smooth execution
  • Measure and report on the effectiveness of events and field marketing efforts, focusing on engagement, lead quality, and quantity
  • Recommend any necessary adjustments for future event strategies to optimize resource allocation, efficiency, and revenue generation
Education and Experience Requirements:
  • Only local candidates will be considered. This position is hybrid and requires flexibility to work in our Dublin, OH office, as needed, for event preparation and logistics.
  • At least 4 years of experience successfully planning, managing and executing sales events, such as tradeshows, conferences, field marketing activities, and virtual events
  • B2B marketing experience is required
  • Prior experience creating event campaigns and content for emails, registration, and social media
  • Must demonstrate excellent organizational and communication skills, and have experience working with vendors and venues to coordinate events
  • Previous experience managing all aspects of shipping and event logistics is required
  • Must be highly self-motivated and goal-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience building marketing campaigns
  • Experience with marketing automation tools
