QUALIFICATIONS
Experience with donor database management, non-profit, event management or marketing, and at least two years in a professional work environment. Preferred experience working with individuals with disabilities and excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

The Chanda Center for Health (the Center) is a non-profit organization in Lakewood, CO with a mission to improve the health and wellness of people living with long-term disabilities and reduce their associated healthcare costs. We believe that people living with long-term physical disabilities have the right to create their own healthcare path, live independently, and be active members in the community.
We deliver services and positive health outcomes through an integrative healthcare model including acupuncture, massage, chiropractic care, adaptive yoga, physical therapy, counseling, behavioral health and care coordination.
POSITION SUMMARY
Help plan, organize, execute, and monitor strategies and tactical portions of the Chanda Center for Health development activities, which include special events, grants and donors. This position has an opportunity for growth and advancement with the Chanda Center for Health.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
JOB DETAILSESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Annual Giving
o Coordinate production and mailing of campaigns and letters
o Assist with creating development budgets and reviewing them quarterly with Senior Executive Director
o Assist with grant proposal submission, in partnership with contract grant writer (providing and editing content)
o Meet and/or exceed annual donor/fund raising goal.
• Data Management
o Manage and maintain donor database (Donor Perfect), including:
o Process and enter donations made to the Foundation including special events
o Maintain donor records with accurate and current contact information
o Track all progress with prospects and donors as well as funding progress toward goals
o Produce daily, monthly, quarterly, and/or annually reports
o Produce queries, labels, and data files as needed
• Gift Management
o Work with Accounts Director to ensure donations are accurately allocated in QuickBooks
o Coordinate with Senior Executive Director on donor strategy, recognition and growth.
o Produce and send pledge reminders and invoices as needed
o Work with Accounts Director and contracted grant writer to ensure grants are accurately allocated
o Produce weekly and monthly reports to update Senior Executive Director & Executive Director regarding cash flow budgeting and projections
o Work with executive leadership to maintain accurate cash flow projections for boards and finance committee
• Special Events
o Assist with the planning, management, coordination and execution of events such as annual fundraisers and gratitude parties in addition to other development-related events, with the goal become lead role vs. assistant in this area.
o Coordinate and support the activities of volunteer leaders and vendors and work with event co-chairs to execute events
o Oversee event management system, including but not limited to data entry, progress tracking and reporting, and guest registration and management
o Track and report on event goals, budgets, and expenses
o Work with vendors to prepare event design and materials and manage registration check-in
o Manage silent and live auction solicitation and management
o Manage gala follow-up/closeout, including but not limited to creating receipts, thank you letters, conducting event surveys and coordinating final payments
• Stewardship and Communications
o Work with Senior Executive Director to implement a disciplined and robust moves management program that includes a meaningful and effective stewardship component
o Help design and support the management of development-related content and communiques (social media, e-newsletters, testimonials, email, print)
o Provide tours to prospective or active donors
o Assist with fielding email, phone, and mail inquires to the Chanda Center for Health regarding special events, grants and donations
o Assist with fielding email, phone, and mail inquiries to Senior Executive Director regarding development
o Scheduling development and donor engagement meetings for Senior Executive Director.
• Committee Support & Management
o Manage meeting calendars, including sending meeting notices and materials, tracking RSVPs, making follow up phone calls and scheduling meetings
o Lead special event committees, including but not limited to, seeking volunteers, coordinating meetings, managing communications, reporting progress (internally and to committee)
o Support other development-related committees as requested
OTHER DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintains the environment of the area to promote and support healing, including maintenance of a clean and tidy office space
- Work cooperatively and collaboratively with Senior Executive Director, Executive Director, Clinic and Operations Director, Accounts Director, staff, providers, volunteers, and participants
- Confidence to communicate and to provide outreach to community resources, including external specialists and health care systems, which included other members of the health team as needed
- Furthers the mission of the organization through active support of the strategic goals.
- Special projects as assigned
Must be able to lift 50 pounds independently or with assistance.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
- Required: Experience with donor database management
- Required: Experience in Non-profit, Event Management or Marketing
- Required: Two-year experience in the professional work environment.
- Preferred: Experience working with individuals with disabilities
- Excellent organizational and team leadership skills
- Ability to take initiative and use critical thinking to solve problems independently.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and can easily build rapport
- Ability to work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team

- Close proximity to the computer terminal
- Functional physical demands include manual dexterity, fine motor skills, and reach. The following senses will be needed for essential duties of the job: speech and hearing.

WORK HOURS: Your normal work schedule will be 40 hours per week Monday – Friday, with a 60-minute lunch break. Because this position is exempt, you will not be eligible for overtime. Due to the nature of this position, some nights and weekends may be requested for special events, community outreach, donor tours, and other development activities; however, these dates will be communicated and agreed upon with prior notice.

WORKPLACE: Onsite at the Chanda Center for Health (1630 Carr Street, Lakewood, CO 80214) with some ability to work from home. Travel off-site to meetings and events will be necessary.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
