Position Overview:Vinovium Winery is seeking a creative and highly organized Events Manager to lead the planning, coordination, and execution of events that showcase our brand, foster community engagement, and elevate guest experiences. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, strong leadership skills, and the ability to execute events that drive both revenue and brand loyalty.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Traveling to and from events, setting up, working and managing event staff
  • Event Strategy & Planning
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive events strategy aligned with Vinovium’s vision and business goals.
  • Plan and coordinate a diverse range of events, including wine tastings, private gatherings, corporate events, community engagements, and large-scale celebrations.

Event Coordination & Execution:

  • Oversee all aspects of event logistics, including scheduling, setup, vendor coordination, and day-of execution.
  • Ensure seamless guest experiences by managing event flow, addressing issues in real-time, and maintaining high service standards.

Vendor & Partner Relations:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, suppliers, and community partners.
  • Negotiate contracts and manage budgets to maximize event profitability and value.

Team Leadership:

  • Collaborate with the operations, marketing, and tasting room teams to ensure alignment and support for events.
  • Train and manage event staff, including volunteers and part-time team members, to deliver exceptional service.

Marketing & Promotion:

  • Work closely with the marketing team to create promotional materials, drive attendance, and generate buzz around events.
  • Utilize social media, email campaigns, and local partnerships to amplify event visibility.

Performance Analysis:

  • Track event performance metrics, including attendance, revenue, and guest feedback.
  • Use insights to refine event strategies and enhance future offerings.

Required Skills and AttributesHard Skills:Proven experience in event planning and execution, preferably in the hospitality or wine industry.Strong project management and organizational skills.Budget management expertise and vendor negotiation experience.Proficiency in event management software and tools.Soft Skills:Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to problem-solve under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances.Creativity and attention to detail to deliver memorable, high-quality events.Team-oriented mindset with strong leadership abilities.
