The Executive Vice President, Sales at Evans Food Group / Palmex leads the sales organization to expand retail strategy across branded and private label products, focusing on revenue growth and strong customer relationships.
The Executive Vice President, Sales for Evans Food Group / Palmex provides leadership and direction to the sales organization and is accountable to lead and drive our retail sales strategy across branded and private label products. With a focus on expanding our retail footprint nationally, this leader will lead the team that drives relationship and execution all top National Retailers (i.e. Walmart, Costco, Kroger, Albertson’s, 7-Eleven, Aldi), Category and Sales Strategy, Sales Operations, always building strong customer relationships, while delivering on revenue growth objectives and aligning with the company’s vision and goals
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Sales Strategy and Leadership
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies for retail, branded, and private label products
- Drive revenue growth for all top National Retailers and other key regions by identifying and capturing new business opportunities
- Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of sales initiatives
Customer Relationships
- Build and maintain strong relationships with major retail and private label customers
- Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure customer needs are met through product innovation and supply chain excellence
Team Management and Development
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing sales team to achieve ambitious goals
- Foster a collaborative and results-driven culture focused on customer success and continuous improvement
Market Analysis and Reporting
- Stay abreast of market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights to drive informed decision-making
- Present regular sales performance reports to executive leadership, highlighting successes and areas for improvement
- Creates a robust channel network, alliances and partnerships for selling Company products to customers
- Collaborates with internal marketing teams to drive a focused approach on sales enablement strategy
- Collaborates closely with product, marketing, and business teams to manage simultaneous time-sensitive projects
- Measures the effectiveness of sales channels and programs with data-based insights on channel productivity
- Builds, leads and inspires a team of Sales people in charge of all aspects of the retailer value proposition and partnership formation. Create a culture of success, fostering a culture of accountability and goal achievement
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business
- Minimum 15 years of sales management experience in a Consumer-Packaged Goods environment; 7 years in a leadership/management position directing Sales
- Must be a strong strategic leader with proven experience of establishing and executing critical plans. Must have a deep understanding to develop methodology to oversee the setting of revenue, account and market share growth objectives, while leading a team to achieve these objectives
- Proven leader with in-depth industry experience. Must have exceptional people management skills, a record of building high-performance teams and outstanding relationships with internal and external customers
- A strong work-ethic with proactive communication skills that encourages courageous conversations is a must
- Keen grasp of industry issues
- Focused and results driven, processes record of success achieving aggressive targets
- Ability to handle multiple projects under pressure
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize
- Advanced level skills with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & PowerPoint)
- This position requires extensive travel.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
This job operates in both a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
While performing the essential functions of this position, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing in environments with varied temperatures.

Pay: $275,000.00 - $300,000.00 per year
