Job Description
Reporting to the VP of Financial Institutions Partner Channel Marketing, this Director-level position will drive strategic growth through collaborative partnerships with internal subject matter experts, channel leaders, and banking partners. The role focuses on expanding merchant opportunities, lead generation, and revenue growth while promoting our comprehensive merchant services portfolio. The ideal candidate will spearhead acquisition campaigns, orchestrate joint marketing initiatives, and identify new opportunities to enhance banker engagement and sales performance. We seek a dynamic, strategic, collaborative, and data-driven marketing leader to accelerate growth in this high-growth channel.
Responsibilities
Partner and collaborate with external partners/vendors and internal cross functional teams including and not limited to Bank Partners, Sales, Operations, Product Marketing, Marketing Technology, Legal and other Marketing teams, to deliver best in class marketing campaigns
Develop and implement go-to-market strategies, including targeting, segmentation, positioning, messaging, and marketing material creation
Project manage the day-to-day activities associated with the successful development and execution of defined strategies and goals that drive sales and revenue growth for our partners and for our revenue organization
Deploy and manage all marketing activities required for new product rollout, existing product feature/function updates, promotional programs, internal and external sales incentives, events/conferences monitoring and reporting of all marketing initiatives
Develop integrated marketing campaigns that including new customer/merchant acquisition and work closely with retention marketing team to deepen merchant relationships through cross-sell and up-sell marketing efforts
Help define, build, and manage scalable marketing programs to better connect our solution offerings with bank partner initiatives, and vertical specific market demands.
Own campaign planning and launch coordination by developing efficient cross-functional processes, systems, and tools to guide projects from initial concept to execution
Conceive and run experiments and other growth initiatives and campaigns in the FI channel
Report financial and sales performance growth including detail on portfolio impacts and initiatives focused on enhancing or reducing those impacts
Manage and track budgetary requirements for all projects
Maintain the channel marketing calendars and manage to pre-determined release dates of activities
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
- Eight or more years of experience in marketing or related field
Preferred Skills/Experience
6 or more years of related experience in marketing and marketing strategy with proven ability to deliver results
5+ years or more of marketing campaign planning, implantation and tracking, project management skills preferably in the Financial Industry
Previously history of working in a high-performing marketing team
Exceptional organizational skills and ability to handle multiple projects at the same time
A strong track record of executing effective product launches and growth marketing campaigns across multiple product lines and channels.
A proven ability to influence and lead cross-functional teams to meet common goals and objectives.
Goal oriented, creative, highly collaborative, and a comfort working closely with a variety of different functions to achieve your goals.
An ability to manage and plan at both the strategic and operational levels, and to consistently meet or exceed planned objectives
A strong focus and aptitude for metrics and driving revenue growth within the channel
Preferably experience with Salesforce reporting and an understanding of how marketing cloud works and/or experience with other CRM, CMS and marketing tools.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. This role demands someone who is gifted in their ability to use the spoken and written word to communicate effectively with all stakeholders.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $111,095.00 - $130,700.00 - $143,770.00U.S. Bank will consider qualified applicants with arrest or conviction records for employment.
