SHORT DESCRIPTION
The Field Marketing Director will lead the marketing strategy to support sales growth and execution of regional campaigns within the K-12 education sector.
- Collaborate and partner with Sales Leadership to develop and maintain a territory brain trust that knows the region intimately, including the needs, gaps, obstacles, and opportunities across the territory.
- Collaborate and partner with Sales Leadership to develop and deliver regional sales gatherings and meetings.
- Build and foster strong relationships with sales and marketing leaders, Account Executives, and Per Diems across the region, and maintain frequent communication to determine how to meet needs, fill gaps, and use resources most appropriately.
- Lead and manage the marketing strategy and activities related to each stage of current and upcoming state adoptions, such as market research, adoption-related messaging and collateral development, advanced pre-work, state submission processes, sampling, district evaluation and review processes, piloting, and selling.
- Collaborate and partner with Product Marketing to inform national messaging and marketing activities by providing ongoing input from the field.
- Manage response creation to district questionnaires and rubrics across products.
- Lead the marketing strategy and tactics utilized across the region, including those designed to support Sales with prospecting, lead generation, pipeline building, and opportunity advancement.
- Stay abreast of regional nuances, requirements, and developments, including, but not limited to, adoptions, RFPs, and policy changes.
- Bachelor’s degree with 12+ years related experience, including 5+ years of professional experience in sales within the education publishing industry,
- 5+ years of professional experience in marketing within the education publishing industry,
- 5+ years of professional experience and success in managing complex projects—excellent project management skills are essential
- Experience developing and executing campaigns that drive sales
- Experience with prospecting, lead generation, pipeline building, and closing opportunities
- Experience writing RFPs and/or rubric responses
- Experience writing marketing copy, informing and influencing design, managing print production, coordinating print and digital marketing activities, and managing events
- Experience collaborating with Product Development, Product Management, and Marketing Services teams (including project managers, designers, and digital marketers)
- Experience (intermediate to advanced levels) with the entire Google Suite, Microsoft Office, Google Analytics, Marketing Automation Platforms (i.e., HubSpot, Pardot), WordPress, Adobe, Zoom, and Slack
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional interpersonal skills
- Exceptional leadership skills with experience managing people
- Ability to travel (15-20 % of time)
- Highly motivated, self-starter with a strong work ethic and drive
- Ability to operate effectively and calmly while maintaining a sense of urgency within a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

Salary is only one component of the Amplify Total Rewards package, which includes a 401(k) plan, stock options, competitive health insurance and mental health options, basic life insurance, paid time off, parental leave, and access to best-in-class development programs. The gross salary range for this role is $120,000 - $130,000. This role is eligible for commissions based pay.
