Field Marketing Specialist
LOCATION
Remote with approximately 25% travel to event locations and other conferences/tradeshows as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or related field preferred; 2+ years of B2B marketing experience; expertise with Microsoft O365 tools; experience in email and social media marketing.

Develop and execute field marketing strategies, plan and coordinate high-impact events, oversee event logistics, collaborate with marketing teams to drive attendance, assist sales enablement, monitor market trends, communicate marketing activities to sales teams, measure event success, and participate in quarterly business reviews.

SHORT DESCRIPTION
Play a key role in developing AVI-SPL’s field marketing strategy by organizing events that drive demand and enhance brand awareness.
- Play a foundational role in the development and execution of AVI-SPL’s field marketing strategy, which includes owned and sponsored virtual and in-person events aimed at driving demand and brand awareness for the company.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute high-impact events, focusing on AVI-SPL produced events, conferences, workshops, and customer meetups.
- Oversee end-to-end event logistics, including venue selection, vendor management, budgets, and timelines.
- Collaborate with various marketing team members to create and execute campaigns driving event attendance through email, social media, digital ads, and targeted outreach.
- Assist sales enablement efforts to create initiatives with the necessary tools, content, processes, and best practices to streamline sales efforts, build pipeline, and support revenue objectives.
- Monitor market trends and activity to implement initiatives to drive measurable results.
- Communicate to and educate the sales team about new and planned marketing activities, including global, regional, and local programs.
- Measure success by reporting on leads generated, contribution to sales pipeline, and revenue growth attributed to field marketing programs.
- Participate in quarterly business reviews with local sales manager and marketing lead development team to review lead quality, pipeline, and sales; recommend local marketing approaches to optimize results.
- Travel to event locations and other conferences/tradeshows as needed (Approximately 25% of work time.)

- Demonstrated customer service focus and client communication skills
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
- Ability to travel as required for event execution
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications or similar or related field preferred
- 2+ years of B2B marketing experience, ideally working directly with sales teams in relevant markets
- Expertise with Microsoft O365 tools, including Excel and Teams
- Experience with email marketing and social media marketing, including experience creating social media graphics and videos to promote events
- Experience in a global and/or complex matrixed business environment is desirable
