The Senior Manager Marketing, MGM Collection is part of the US/CAN integrated marketing team and is the brand guardian in continent, also responsible for developing and executing demand generation marketing strategies and tactics across a variety of owned, earned, and paid channels. The senior marketing manager will work closely with the US/CAN Demand Generation team, media planning and strategy team, brand marketing, brand management to execute a variety of marketing activities to achieve the MGM Collection Marriott Bonvoy owned channel booking goals. The MGM Collection Marketing Manager will offer property marketing support for the MGM Collection hotels in supporting the MGM Collection properties in activating to utilize Marriott Bonvoy owned marketing strategies and channels. Marketing manger will be responsible for MGM Collection content development, demonstrating proficiency in crafting compelling narratives, capturing, and editing visual content, and writing effective marketing copy across various channels such as web, email, social media, collateral, paid advertising channels, digital platforms, and beyond. They will support execution across owned channels including web, email, group marketing tools and tactics, also some paid media, and more. They will work closely with brand management ,brand marketing, and continent stakeholders to understand business needs and priorities, identify strategic messaging recommendations, and support execution across relevant channels. They are an effective project manager and able to manage multiple key stakeholders with competing demands from MGM stakeholders and Marriott.


This role will be a part of our Field Marketing organization and will also partner with our demand generation to verify all marketing efforts are effectively integrated with the efforts of the organization to support US/CAN business needs. They are expected to offer not only strategic insights but also provide executional support for marketing tactics in a scalable manner. This individual should be prepared to challenge traditional thinking and find new, innovative, and thoughtful ways to reach consumers of their brands. This role will also serve to ensure the MGM Collection hotels are fully activating their Hotel Website content ( HWS) , Prearrival emails, Marriott Bonvoy Offers ( MBOP) where appropriate to drive the revenue strategy on our owned Marriott channels. Success is measured by how well they help drive room night and ancillary revenue for their brands in Marriott owned booking channels as well as drive Marriott Bonvoy brand awareness and affinity for the MGM Collection, and how well they leverage the resources around them to create compelling and creative marketing campaigns.


This role will also be responsible for managing and executing BETMGM placements in Marriott owned channels per contract requirements, and working with the Marriott lead for MGM Collection to report out support for the BETMGM program for Marriott Bonvoy Members.


In addition, this role will partner with our Marriott Bonvoy Moments team for the creation and activation of Marriott Bonvoy Moments for the MGM Collection properties. Senior Marketing Manger will the liaison with the MGM Collection properties and our Marriott Bonvoy Moments team.


The MGM Collection licensing agreement includes marketing placements in MGM owned channels, this role will build out the strategy, creative, partner with the MGM team for implementation and tracking to support Marriott Bonvoy.


CANDIDATE PROFILE


Education and Experience


Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, Business, or a related major
  • 2-5 years experience in sales, marketing, digital, or related professional area


Preferred

  • Hospitality marketing or digital advertising agency experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement successful marketing tactics.
  • Experience with content production and/or marketing copywriting.


CORE WORK ACTIVITIES


Marketing Activities

  • Develop strategic and tactical plans that maximize revenue potential across digital marketing channels for the brand, working in collaboration with brand management, and marketing teams.
  • Aggregate and create original visual content from asset libraries.
  • Write and edit effective marketing copy, adapted to specific placements.
  • Create and manage content calendars across relevant channels. Plan and execute content distribution through traditional, email, digital, public relations, social channels, etc.
  • Understand brand business needs and priorities and support these needs through effective messaging strategy and marketing execution.
  • Support relationships with and management of content production partners, vendors, influencers, etc. to ensure content adheres to brand standards and meets strategic marketing purposes. Partners with marketing creative team in managing photo shoots and other productions.
  • Support storytelling and content strategy for events, partnerships, food and beverage, and small groups.
  • As needed, provide additional support and context to support the social media team including community management, content planning/publishing, reporting, and optimization.
  • Develop brand email content, including written content, aggregation of relevant visual assets, and implementation of email best practices.
  • Develop website content in adherence with brand voice and channel best practices. Regularly audit web content and ensure content is up-to-date, relevant, and adheres to current practices and requirements.
  • Partner between the marketing team, media, partnership and creative teams to execute brand placements and campaigns. Support delivery and optimization of media assets.
  • Understand hotel consumers and key audiences. Partner with revenue management and digital.
  • Support content capture, production, and post production.
  • Responsible for updating and sharing brand best practices and brand marketing playbooks for US/CAN properties.
  • Responsible for brand marketing efforts across B2C, B2B, and ancillary.


General

  • Provide training and marketing leadership, while acting as a subject matter expert in the discipline.
  • Ensure knowledge of and adherence to brand standards and strategy.
  • Coordinate with property teams and/or brand creative and marketing team to create assets, build messaging, and refine placements across relevant channels.
  • Obtain and determine creative specs and requirements from partners, build clear creative briefs, and communicate needs to the creative team. Support creative traffic delivery.
  • Manage assigned budget and associated finance protocols
  • Manage marketing plans, flow charts, timelines, and processes.
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Manage projects, timelines, and production for marketing campaigns.
  • Support project management, brief creation and intake, job and resource management, reviews, and creative trafficking.
  • Support department technical tools and resources (e.g. Asana, DAC, Canva), as needed
  • Streamline the onboarding process for new products while enhancing marketing and promotional initiatives.
  • Understand and be able to interpret measurement and analysis of brand business and marketing KPIs.


The pay range for this position is $47.35 to $75.10 per hour.

Washington Applicants Only: Employees will accrue 0.0334 PTO balance for every hour worked and eligible to receive minimum of 9 holidays annually.
