Job Description Summary

Franchise Development Specialist (FDS) and play a pivotal role in helping franchisee candidates explore their potential with a leading brand in the short-term rental property management industry.

As an FDS, youll be the first point of contact for candidates considering an iTrip franchise. Your mission? To educate, engage, and inspire. Through live, interactive webinars, youll introduce candidates to the exciting world of short-term rental property management and showcase the unique benefits of the iTrip franchise model. Youll also serve as their trusted guide through the discovery process about this opportunity, addressing their questions and supporting them through the discovery process.

Youll also cultivate bursiness relationships with franchise brokers, consultants, and coaches to generate high-quality leads, ensuring a robust pipeline of franchisee candidates.

This role reports to the Franchise Development Manager and offers a unique blend of autonomy, collaboration, and growth.

What Youll Do (Functions & Responsibilities)

  • Build and Nurture Broker Relationships: Proactively engage with franchise brokers, consultants, and coaches to drive high-quality referrals and grow the candidate pipeline.
  • Deliver Engaging Webinars: Facilitate interactive and informative webinars via Zoom, introducing candidates to the iTrip franchise opportunity and addressing their initial questions.
  • Guide Candidates Through the Discovery Process: Respond to candidate inquiries, establish follow-ups, and provide ongoing support to ensure a seamless discovery journey.
  • Contribute to Impactful Marketing Campaigns: Design and update marketing materials, including video scripts and presentations, to attract referrals and showcase the iTrip franchise model.
  • Attend Industry Events: Represent iTrip at industry conferences and events to identify growth opportunities and build valuable connections. This involves the need to travel.
  • Contribute to Market and Competitor Research: Perform thorough research to support franchise territory development, including gathering data from government entities.
  • Streamline Day-to-Day Sales Operations: Collaborate with the Franchise Development Manager to enhance the discovery process, optimize workflows, and improve candidate experiences.
  • Develop Referral (Broker) Channels: Research and engage new franchise broker groups and explore innovative strategies to increase non-broker referrals.
  • Support Broker Needs: Respond to territory checks and maintain up-to-date back-office materials for franchise brokers to support their efforts.
  • Analyze Competitors: Maintain a detailed competitor analysis, updating documentation to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Contribute to International Expansion: Assist with research and create materials to support iTrips growth into international markets.

What Were Looking For (Minimum qualifications)

  • Microsoft 365 skilled, including Excel pivot tables.
  • Demonstrated sales success.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including spelling, grammar, and sentence structure as well as public speaking experience.
  • Ability to prioritize work, attention to detail, and excellent organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to identiy and understand customer needs and respond appropriately.
  • Passion for excellence.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team with minimal supervision.
  • Sales and/or business development experience.
  • Prior professional experience, minimum 7 years.
  • Zoom, KEAP/InfusionSoft, or any other CRM experience is a plus.
  • Proven track record of consistently meeting and exceeding goals.
  • A desire to learn.
  • Franchise industry experience is a plus.
  • Ability to travel.

Education Requirements

  • 4-year college education or equivalent with a focus in Sales, Marketing, Communication, Business, or a related field.
  • Certified Franchise Executive (CFE) designation is a plus.
