Role Description
As a Freight Broker Specialist at VHI Transport, you will be integral in negotiating competitive rates, managing shipments from pickup to delivery, and building strong relationships with carriers to align capacity with customer needs. You will maintain professional communication with both customers and carriers, track and trace shipments, and resolve transportation challenges with persistence and creativity. Additionally, you will leverage logistics software to update shipment details, onboard new carriers, and proactively seek new business opportunities to expand our network. You will also assist with online marketing efforts to promote our services and engage potential clients, helping to drive the overall growth of the company.

Qualifications
We’re looking for a high-energy, self-starter with excellent communication and negotiation skills. You should thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment, be a disciplined, tech-savvy problem-solver, and possess a collaborative spirit. With 2 to 3 years of professional logistics or freight brokerage experience, you should be able to manage multiple accounts efficiently and make a positive impact on both your professional growth and the growth of the company. Experience in sales and customer service is preferred.
