Full-time receptionist role at Encore at Avalon Park, providing front desk support and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere while ensuring smooth daily operations.
We are seeking a highly organized and professional FULL-TIME Receptionist to join our team and be the welcoming face at Encore at Avalon Park, an assisted living community in beautiful Avalon Park in East Orlando. In this role, you will greet visitors, residents and staff, manage incoming calls and provide administrative support to ensure smooth daily operations. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Job Duties:
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.

- Answer and direct incoming calls promptly.
- Answer emergency call system and fire alarm systems and take appropriate action.
- Support marketing efforts by promptly forwarding leads to the Marketing Coordinator and by mailing out brochures.
- Maintain the front desk area and conference room and ensure it remains organized and presentable.
- Assist with administrative tasks, such as managing mail, deliveries, and other tasks as assigned by the Executive Director and Human Resources Coordinator.
- Schedule appointments and maintain calendar management for staff members.
- Work with management to ensure a positive experience for residents and their families, visitors and vendors.
Job Responsibilities:
- Support a dignified and caring atmosphere with residents, residents’ families, visitors and staff
- Protect privacy and confidentiality of information pertaining to the resident, employee, company information and records.
- Maintain a safe and secure working environment and practice safe working habits.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2-year minimum front desk experience
- 2-year minimum customer service experience
- Proven experience as a receptionist or in a similar administrative role is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Bilingual candidates are highly desirable to enhance communication with diverse clientele.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- A positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service are essential for success in this role. Excellent attendance is a must.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
- Frequently required to stand, walk, sit, hear, talk, see
- Frequently required to utilize hand and finger dexterity
- Occasionally required to lift, push up to 25 lbs.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $16.50 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
