Overview
The Front Desk Receptionist is the first point of contact for students and parents. This role is vital in managing daily operations and fostering strong relationships with families. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, personable, and skilled in communication and organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Interaction: Greet students and parents with professionalism and warmth.
- Follow-Up: Reach out to previous students/parents to gather feedback on their tutoring sessions and address any concerns.
- Scheduling: Contact students/parents to schedule or reschedule tutoring sessions.
- Social Media Management: Post engaging and relevant content daily across social media platforms to promote the center's services and successes.
- Email Campaigns: Create and distribute email campaigns to inform parents about upcoming sessions, events, or promotions.
- Administrative Tasks:
- Manage student registration forms and assessments.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for students and tutors.
- Respond promptly to inquiries via phone, email, and in person.
- Communication: Serve as a liaison between parents, students, and tutors to ensure smooth coordination.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or experience in customer service or office administration is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, TikTok).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Friendly and professional demeanor.
- Basic computer skills, including familiarity with email marketing tools and scheduling software.
Preferred Experience
- Prior experience in a customer-facing or administrative role.
- Experience managing social media accounts for a business.
- Background in education or familiarity with tutoring services is a bonus.
