Fundraising Events Manager (Part-Time)

Oyster Bay, New York (onsite position at Planting Fields)
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree preferred, 2-3 years of experience in fundraising event planning for nonprofit or arts organizations, strong time management, organizational skills, CRM experience, and ability to work evenings and weekends for events.

Plan, organize, and manage fundraising activities and events, assist in achieving annual fundraising goals, facilitate event designs with marketing, coordinate with various teams, and utilize CRM for donor management.

SHORT DESCRIPTION
The Fundraising Events Manager will oversee the planning and execution of fundraising events to support annual goals, collaborating closely with the Director of Development and other departments.
Hours: 20.0 hours/week
The Fundraising Events Manager will plan, organize, manage and facilitate the execution of
fundraising activities and signature events. The Manager will report to the Director of
Development.
Duties + Responsibilities
- Assist the Director of Development with achieving annual fundraising goals with a focus on
- Support in developing, planning and the execution of annual fundraising activities and
Golf Classic, and Deck the Halls (DTH).
- Work closely with event chairs and colleagues to develop and execute fundraising events.
- Work to keep events on schedule, within stated budgets and functioning smoothly.
- Facilitate event design needs with marketing team.
- Use technology and other resources (including Blackbaud Altru CRM) to access the donor
- Assist Marketing and Communications staff to create streamlined fundraising event
- Collect content from fundraising events and activities for social media, newsletters and

Education + Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
- At least 2-3 years of experience in fundraising event planning and development for a
- Proven and successful track record in supporting fundraising programs.
- Superior time management and organizational skills, with proven ability to meet timelines.
- Ability to interface with individuals at every level and department within the organization.
- Creative problem-solver, with the ability to adapt quickly to prioritize, plan for, and manage
- Strong work ethic, excellent judgment, and discretion.
- Fluency in Microsoft Office.
- CRM experience is essential.
- Ability to work evenings and weekends for fundraising events.
- Ability to take initiative and remain self-motivated while also being a member of a larger

Additional Information
This is a part-time, hourly position based in Oyster Bay, New York. The position is to be fully
performed onsite at Planting Fields. The hourly pay range is $28.00 to $30.00 an hour.
