The Funnel Strategist will support strategy and execution of marketing campaigns, collaborating with teams to optimize funnels and enhance client revenue.

About the role
The Funnel Strategist plays a key supportive role at Strikepoint. On the Marketing Team, they are responsible for supporting the strategy and production of revenue-impacting marketing campaigns and assets (lead gen offers, landing pages, email templates, etc.) aligned with our client’s strategy and initiatives.
As a Funnel Strategist, you will be responsible for collaborating with cross-functional teams to create compelling campaigns across various channels, as directed by the Marketing Strategists. You will support the strategy and execution of said campaigns by monitoring campaign performance, conducting market research, and providing insights to optimize.
This role will work closely with their pod team to grow and scale our client accounts. While the marketing strategist will be responsible for the developed strategy and prioritization, the Funnel Strategist will be responsible for developing resources and implementation that the pod executes for respective clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Build and Optimize Funnels: Create and enhance marketing funnels, analyze performance metrics, and make data-driven improvements in collaboration with the Marketing Strategist. (min: 1x per week - 1x per month depending on traffic levels).
Funnel Messaging Optimization: Craft and optimize high-converting copy across the entire customer journey by implementing psychological triggers, power words, and proven frameworks for landing pages, email sequences, and upsell offers. Conduct customer research and A/B test various copy elements including headlines, subheads, CTAs, and product descriptions to maximize engagement and conversion rates at every funnel stage. Analyze copy performance metrics and heat maps to continuously refine messaging strategy and improve emotional resonance with target audiences.
Performance Reporting and Analysis: Provide detailed performance reports and analyses to clients and internal teams, including KPI tracking, attribution analysis, and funnel metrics. Develop and automate data flows to streamline reporting processes and ensure accountability for ongoing reporting needs.
Funnel Audits and Conversion Rate Optimization: Conduct comprehensive funnel reviews, calculate funnel math during strategy and optimization phases, monitor conversion pages, implement A/B testing strategies, and communicate insights and recommendations with the team regularly.
Ensure Quality Assurance: Conduct QA checks before launches, monitor funnels for post-launch issues, and resolve any breakages promptly.
Update and Present Meeting Pitch Decks: Create and update pitch decks to share performance results, insights, and strategic recommendations with clients during meetings, ensuring clear and impactful communication.
Coordinate With Creative Teams: Work with internal design and copy teams to develop, implement, and test creative elements for funnels to ensure effectiveness.
Handle Ad-Hoc Tasks: Assist with design-related tasks, write ad and funnel copy when needed, support data integration projects, and prepare client media reporting.
Experience: 3+ years in a marketing role with a proven track record in an in-house or agency environment.
Education: BA/BS degree in marketing or business preferred or equivalent work experience.
Skills and Expertise:
Experience with page builder tools like Clickfunnels, Unbounce, GoHighLevel or similar.
Experience setting up email campaigns in CRM/ESPs like Hubspot, Active Campaign, Salesforce, Mailchimp, or similar.
Experience with using automation tools like Zapier, Make, or something similar.
Experience with reporting and data analysis tools like GA4, GTM, Google Sheets, Everflow or similar.
Highly detail-oriented with an exceptional eye for accuracy and thoroughness in all aspects of project execution.
Organized and solution-focused, with a "Type A" personality: driven, meticulous, and always striving for perfection.

Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity in the financial services industry is a plus
Certification in Google Analytics and or Hubspot is a plus
Compensation
$65,000-$85,000/year
