1+ years of supervisory experience in food service, retail, or restaurants; proficiency in Microsoft Office and POS systems; experience in analyzing P&L statements; ability to manage budgets; and strong leadership and communication skills.

The General Manager is responsible for directing the overall operational activities for the restaurant while driving results through personnel development, as well as sales and profit growth. He or she ensures food quality and outstanding customer service. The General Manager is the “Brand Ambassador” frequently connecting with the local community to develop public awareness of the location.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities
Responsible for directing the overall operational activities for the restaurant, driving outstanding operational performance including but not limited to: • Recruitment, training, and development of Shift and Assistant Managers and the crew • Ensuring customer satisfaction and positive outcomes of any customer complaints. • Promoting and maintaining a sales-driven, profit-smart mindset • Maintaining operational standards • Driving the achievement of operational and financial results • Facilities repairs and maintenance • Cleanliness, sanitation, and safety • Internal and external communications • Local restaurant marketing.
2. Responsible for the recruitment, development, and management of Shift Managers and crew, thus cultivating future leaders for the company from within.
3. Create Assistant Manager, Shift Manager, and crew schedules to ensure proper staffing levels for expected sale volumes, while taking into consideration availability, payroll, and overtime costs.
4. Responsible for the ordering, receiving, and storage of food, beverage, supplies, and smallware’s, in accordance with the established procedures, as well as local, state, and federal laws.
5. Oversee the implementation of the restaurant's training program. 6. Effectively navigate the Profit & Loss Statement, translating financial reports with the knowledge of what “levers to pull” to maximize profit.
7. Maintain a safe work environment for crew and ensure that the restaurant and equipment are always clean and in good working order.
8. Manage administrative responsibilities such as timekeeping, inventory management, cash handling, sales reporting, and records management under established procedures, as well as local, state, and federal laws.
9. Represent your Wing Snob location, executing approved local restaurant marketing initiatives.
10. Identify areas for improvement and inspire Assistant Managers, Shift Managers, and crew to take the initiative to improve their performance.
Qualifications:
1 or more years of previous food service, retail, or restaurant supervisory experience
Proficient in a variety of technology systems, especially Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), Toast Point-of-Sale a plus. Also, be able to adapt quickly to new systems
Knowledge and skills in analyzing profit and loss statements and overall financial performance of the restaurant.
Fiscal accountability and responsibility for managing budgets.
Knowledge and skills in staffing Local restaurant marketing experience a plus.
Ability to lead, motivate, and empower crewmembers to higher levels of performance.
Ability to manage all public dealings in a professional manner.
Ability to accept feedback and willingness to improve 11. Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 7 hours).
