Pay Range: $50K-70K

Job Summary:
A General Manager (GM) plays a vital role in cultivating the success of our membership and training programs at Anytime Fitness. A GM should be a highly motivated individual with a passion for helping others improve their lives through health and fitness. The GM is responsible for selling memberships, selling training services, managing the member and guest experience, and leading staff to work as a cohesive unit. Key Responsibilities of Gym Managers:
This role requires a considerable amount of self-motivation, leadership, collaboration, communication, and the ability to positively influence others.
- GM's will oversee lead nurturing, prospect conversion, onboarding, follow-up, and training client conversion. A good GM will know how to meet our members where they are in their fitness journey.
- GM's deliver fitness consultations, movement assessments, and body scans. They interpret results from these areas to determine and suggest AF Training program options to increase client success, and ultimately, improve member retention.
- Sales a large part of the GM role is centered around membership and training sales. GM's must convert leads to members through daily follow-ups, relationship building, ability to empathize, and follow through. A good GM will need to leverage our technology (Anytime Fitness App, body scanner, heart rate monitors, etc.) to support the growth of the personal training department.
- Brand promoters when you love your gym, others will too! The GM establishes relationships with businesses and influencers in the community to promote the brand through B2B marketing. This person helps coordinate and execute engagement campaigns, national marketing campaigns, and community outreach efforts using assets and operations created by the Anytime Fitness corporate teams.
- Team builders leading a team and driving results through motivation and fun is a key part of being a GM. This person is hired to inspire team members by fostering a trusting and positive environment while hitting the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) that drive success.
- Day-to-day operations GM's will be responsible for the daily club operational tasks such as running reports to analyze KPIs and goal set, using our club management software and billing provider to help with member management and engagement, lead follow-up, post to local social media accounts, club cleanliness.
- Culture creators GM's love creating an environment that inspires members and guests to share their positive experiences with friends and family. They deliver top-notch customer service and aim to improve the lives of each person they meet
Job Requirements of a General Manager:
- Experience in the fitness Industry isnt required, but great communication and soft skills are.
- 18 years or older
- Available to work flexible hours [mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends]
- Friendly, outgoing, and warm
- Genuine and honest
- Demonstrates a drive for results
- Technologically savvy
- Self-motivated
- Good at managing time and schedules
- Accredited Personal Training Certification preferred
