Forge is based in Columbus, Ohio, in a 200,000 square foot facility known affectionately by team members as, the Hearth. The Hearth, is a custom-designed cGMP facility dedicated to AAV manufacturing and hosts scalable, end-to-end manufacturing services.

About The Role

We are seeking a collaborative and dynamic Global Marketing Coordinator to join the Ajinomoto Bio-Pharma Services Global Marketing team. This unique role offers the opportunity to contribute to a multi-site business unit, ensuring seamless marketing integration across all Ajinomoto Bio-Pharma Services locations. You'll play a critical role in delivering a cohesive, high-impact marketing experience that aligns with Forge Biologics' commitment to excellence while supporting the broader Ajinomoto Bio-Pharma Services portfolio.

As a member of the Forge Marketing and Creative team, you'll collaborate with dedicated colleagues across Forge and Ajinomoto Bio-Pharma Services to strengthen brand consistency and awareness. Your work will directly impact the success of global marketing strategies, helping us better serve our global clients and their patients.


What You'll Do

  • Brand Guideline Coordination
    • Oversee global marketing activities to ensure consistent brand recognition across Ajinomoto Bio-Pharma Services global sites, including Fill Finish, Oligo & Peptide Synthesis, Large Molecule, Small Molecule, Gene Therapy, and Platform Technologies.
    • Maintain a unified brand identity by managing updates to colors, logos, fonts, and overall messaging. Responsible for sharing guidelines for incorporation into marketing materials across sites (e.g., conference booths, brochures, presentations).
    • Manage global brand templates, including creating and updating PowerPoint presentations, letterheads, one-pagers, and brochures.
  • Marketing Infrastructure and Management
    • Design and implement a global marketing infrastructure that promotes transparency, streamlines activity management, and fosters collaboration across multiple sites.
  • Digital Marketing
    • Oversee updates, audits, and changes to the Ajinomoto Bio-Pharma Services website, ensuring consistency and accuracy.
    • Manage and coordinate posts for Ajinomoto Bio-Pharma Services' current and future social media platforms.
  • External Communications
    • Lead the development of press releases, award announcements, and reporter engagement.
    • Support company messaging to align with global objectives.
  • Conference & Event Coordination
    • Coordinate global marketing efforts for conferences across all sites, ensuring efficient booth logistics, streamlined communication, and alignment with specific site needs.
    • Assist in identifying key organizers for multi-site events.
  • Advertising & Contracts
    • Negotiate global advertising contracts to streamline activities and maintain budget efficiency across sites.
  • Marketing Planning
    • Track and align global marketing initiatives to ensure balanced timing and consistency throughout the year (e.g., avoiding overlapping webinars or campaigns).
    • Design and implement a global marketing infrastructure that promotes transparency, streamlines activity management, and fosters collaboration across multiple sites.

What You'll Bring

  • 5+ years of experience managing complex cross-functional programs/projects tied to contracted services or product delivery.
  • Proven track record of effectively managing projects with external clients, consistently delivering on time and within budget.
  • Ability to draft, and review contracts, including Service Agreements, Statements of Work, and Change Orders.
  • Demonstrated ability to balance the project's strategic project needs with tactical activities, coupled with a keen ability to maintain focus on both macro and micro-level tasks.
  • Experience utilizing project management tools and software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Smartsheet).
  • Able to comprehend and interpret technical documents and business processes, with the ability to apply appropriate actions to drive outcomes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to work onsite, in Columbus, Ohio 3-4 days/week.

Work Environment and Physical Demands

This position works in a typical office environment where the physical work demands will vary depending on the specific tasks and duties required of the job. This is largely a sedentary role; persons holding office positions are generally subject to inside environmental conditions having the lighting, temperature, and noise of an open floor-plan office environment. Regularly operate a computer and other office equipment. Regularly communicate with others in person, over the phone, and electronically. Must be able to move and/or carry objects weighing up to 10 lbs.
