SHORT DESCRIPTION
The Graphic and Production Specialist drives AIDPH’s communication design and marketing strategy by conceptualizing and executing engaging visuals and content to enhance the organization’s visibility and impact.

Job Responsibilities
- Design high-quality graphical assets for a range of uses, including social media, reports, presentations, newsletters, and educational materials.
- Maintain and evolve AIDPH’s visual brand identity to ensure consistency across all platforms.
- Collaborate with team members to create tailored assets for specific target audiences and projects.
- Support AIDPH’s social media accounts, including content creation, scheduling, monitoring engagement, and responding to inquiries.
- Write, edit, and proofread content for newsletters, press releases, blog posts, and other communications.
- Support content dissemination through email campaigns, website updates, and other digital platforms.
- Ensure all communications and designs align with AIDPH’s mission, vision, and values, with attention to equity, inclusion, and community engagement.
- Work collaboratively with team members to develop communications strategies that elevate AIDPH’s mission visibility and engagement.
- Inform design and communication strategies that align with public health and oral health trends.
- Monitor analytics for social media, newsletters, and other communications to inform improvements in strategy and execution.
- Other responsibilities as defined by evolving organizational needs.
Required Skills
- Strong proficiency in graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva) and a strong portfolio of design work that was produced and executed independently.
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with attention to detail and audience engagement.
- Knowledge of social media platforms, trends, and strategies for increasing engagement and visibility.
- Strong understanding of branding and ability to maintain consistent visual and written messaging.
- Experience with email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp) and website management tools (e.g., WordPress).
- Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Ability to adapt designs and communications for diverse audiences and formats.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset to work effectively in a remote team environment.
- Ability to work independently with self-management skills under appropriate guidance for effective project management.
Preferred Education and Experience
- Experience with public health and/or oral health topics is highly preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, communications, marketing, public health, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 2-3 years of professional experience in graphic design, communications, or a related role.
- Familiarity with analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, social media insights) is a plus.
- Familiarity with basic web design principles and tools is preferred.

Salary
$32,000 - $40,000 per year
