Graphic Design and Video Intern

BODYARMOR is looking for a Graphic Design and Video Intern to join our team. The Graphic Design and Video Editor Intern is responsible for the execution of brand design, graphic design, and basic video editing projects for BODYARMOR and POWERADE brands. Successful candidates will demonstrate superior ability to drive design thinking from ideation through execution and refinement. As part of the Design team, you will partner closely with internal design team members plus a cross-functional team to deliver final design solutions.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Create design solutions by directly executing design and production assignments, leveraging internal/external design resources, from concept through production.
  • Design and deliver a variety of visual content, including point-of-sale, display graphics, out-of-home, social media graphics, digital advertising, decks, toolkits, and marketing collateral.
  • Extrapolate design concepts to various specs for digital and print mechanicals.
  • Work with a variety of assets, such as product and athlete photography, to develop compelling communication and marketing tools.
  • Maintain server protocols and asset management organization.
  • Be able to explain creative choices to the creative director and, at times, cross-functional team and convince them of the best methodologies for executing said creative assignment.
  • Solve problems that can range from typical to challenging, drawing from prior experience and analysis to come up with recommendations.
  • Assist in editing and producing basic video content, including motion graphics for social media and digital advertising.
  • Support video shoots and post-production processes, including editing and animation.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Pursuing a degree in Graphic Design or related field on track to graduate no sooner than December 2025.
  • Keen eye for color theory, design composition & layout.
  • Experience with both print and digital design media and how to intersect the two.
  • Design from concept to development marketing collateral with support of brand guidelines and established campaign direction.
  • Understanding of effective social media design & animation/motion experience desired.
  • Basic video editing and motion graphics skills, including proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.
  • Interest in learning production skills such as photography/photoshoot direction, video/film (shooting/editing/direction), retouching, and any post-production processes that provide foundational assets for graphic design output.
  • Strong typography skills.
  • Lightning-fast worker & multitasker not afraid by a frenetic pace or work environment.
  • Highly proficient skill set in Adobe CS including Illustrator, Photoshop, Adobe Acrobat, and PowerPoint.
  • Professionalism and composure while working under tight deadlines and constructive feedback.
  • Excellent collaborative and interpersonal skills and the ability to work quickly under tight deadlines and competing priorities.
  • CPG and/or Sports Marketing design background highly preferred.
  • Self-motivated and independent, but enjoys being part of a collaborative environment.
  • Commitment to excellence from start to finish.
  • Effective and enthusiastic team player and collaborator.

Monthly Compensation

$3,400-$6,700 dependent on job and degree type
