Position Overview Pickleball Kingdom is seeking a talented Graphic Designer to lead the charge in defining and executing our creative vision. This role will also serve as brand manager, playing a critical role in shaping and elevating the Pickleball Kingdom brand across all franchise locations. As the third member of our growing marketing team, the Graphic Designer must be ready to roll up their sleeves from day one and contribute to both strategy and execution.
This position will collaborate closely with our franchisees, providing them with an array of creative assets, tools, and support to enhance their clubs. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a passion for design, a keen eye for brand consistency, and the technical skills to bring creative visions to life.
Key Responsibilities
Creative Direction and Design
- Lead creative strategy and execution to maintain and enhance the Pickleball Kingdom brand identity.
- Develop high-quality graphic designs for a wide range of materials, including social media graphics, TV signage, training manuals, email marketing templates, and digital marketing assets.
- Oversee the creation of a robust library of customizable assets for franchisees to utilize in their local marketing efforts.
Digital Training Program Support
- Collaborate with internal departments to build out a robust digital training program for franchisees.
- Spearhead digital training platform - develop and build out comprehensive training materials, resources, and modules.
- Ensure the training program aligns with brand standards and supports franchisees in effectively utilizing provided assets and tools.
Digital and Web Support
- Assist with basic front-end website updates to ensure accurate and engaging content.
- Apply UX/UI best practices to enhance the digital experience and work effectively with web development teams.
Brand Management
- Ensure brand consistency across all channels, including franchisee communications, corporate marketing, and customer-facing materials.
- Act as a steward of the Pickleball Kingdom brand, protecting and evolving its visual and messaging standards.
Project Management and Team Collaboration
- Partner with the Sr. Director of Marketing and other team members to execute comprehensive marketing campaigns.
- Balance multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining a high level of quality and attention to detail.
- Stay informed about industry trends and creative best practices to continuously improve.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of experience graphic design
- Expert level knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
- Preferred experience in other relevant design tools such as Canva
- CRM email template development is a plus
- Basic photo and video editing skills
- Basic knowledge of website management and UX/UI principles.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and with franchisees.
- Exceptional organizational skills and a proactive, solutions-oriented approach.
- Passion for sports, recreation, or community-driven initiatives is a plus.
