The designer in this role will develop visually compelling assets for digital, video, and print, ensuring consistency with the Guidewire brand - all while working alongside the brightest minds in P&C insurance technology.Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Manage queue of creative projects to completion on time, on brand, and with the highest level of customer service
Collaborate with the Marketing team to create visually engaging graphics for presentations, social media, websites, and other collateral
Design and maintain templates for Google Slides, Keynote, and PowerPoint presentations, ensuring brand consistency and design excellence
Create assets for campaigns, events, social media, and the Web
Develop unique designs that help tell Guidewire, customer, and partner stories through infographics, presentations, environments, and other traditional and emerging media
Present design concepts effectively to Marketing leadership and other stakeholders, incorporating feedback and iterating on designs to achieve desired outcomes
Stay up to date with the latest design trends and tools to continually enhance design quality and productivity.
Assist with design requests as needed and contribute to other creative projects
Track project work and communicate status updates using designated project management tools and established processes
Maintain project/design files in designated libraries to ensure smooth sharing of files across design team
Serve as a Guidewire brand expert and steward, developing unique designs that bolster the Guidewire brand globally
Required Qualifications:
3-5 years of experience as a graphic designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing a range of design projects
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
Demonstrated proficiency creating world-class presentations using Google Slides, Keynote, and PowerPoint
Demonstrated understanding of design principles, typography, layout, and color theory
Excellent attention to detail and a keen eye for design consistency
Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly explain design concepts and decisions to non-designer stakeholders
Strong time management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong background as the primary designer of executive and corporate presentations using Google Slides, PowerPoint, and Keynote
Experience working in B2B technology or software industries
A degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field
Knowledge of web design principles
Familiarity with After Effects, Premiere Pro, and HTML/CSS

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $58,000 - $116,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
