THE RUNDOWN

The Group Vice President (GVP), Playfly Aspire Properties (college and pro sports ticket sales, premium sales, development/fundraising, and sponsorships), is responsible for property relationship management, leveraging best practices, and development of careers. Reporting directly to the Senior Vice President and Head of Playfly Aspire Properties, this senior role will service an existing college and pro sports portfolio of active partnerships. The GVP will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders. The person in this role will have direct reports who are Directors and Senior Directors and should expect to travel about 15% of the time.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

  • 10+ years of experience in ticket sales, business development or fundraising and at least five (5) years of people leadership.
  • Critical: Must be great relationship builder
  • Important: Experience managing a portfolio of partnerships and relationships
  • Pass success with account management and win-win contract negotiations
  • Ability to think and act with long-term and short-term interests being served
  • Results and bottom-line oriented yet will possess sensitivity towards people and values
  • Must have a strong sense of self-awareness and emotional intelligence
  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality and use upmost discretion when privy to sensitive information
  • Strong time management, prioritization, and organizational skills
  • Must work independently and self-motivate

TRAVEL, LIFTING, PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • The work is typically performed in an adequately lighted and climate-controlled office environment
  • The work is sedentary in nature
  • Walking, standing, bending and carrying of light office items is required
  • Travel is expected to be about 15%
