SHORT DESCRIPTION

APMEX is seeking a Business Development Product Manager to drive growth initiatives and oversee project management for its subsidiary companies, OneGold and Citadel, within a flexibly hybrid work environment.

We are seeking a local candidate for this role! This position offers a flexible, hybrid schedule with availability to work from home on Monday and Friday.

We are looking for a skilled Business Development Product Manager to oversee and drive key growth initiatives, projects, and integrations related to APMEXs subsidiary companies, OneGold and Citadel. This role will involve close collaboration with internal teams and external vendors to ensure projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and aligned with our strategic goals.

The day in the life of a Business Development Product Manager...

  • Oversee Growth Projects: Lead and facilitate growth-focused projects and integrations for APMEX and its subsidiary companies.
  • Vendor Evaluation & Management: Identify, evaluate, and manage third-party vendors and partners to support growth initiatives.
  • Product & Feature Launches: Manage the testing and rollout of new products and features, ensuring successful launches that meet quality standards.
  • Data-Driven Research: Conduct research and analysis to shape the developmental roadmap and inform decision-making.
  • Industry Knowledge: Gain an in-depth understanding of competitor platforms internationally, and in the U.S.
  • A/B Testing & UI/UX Improvements: Implement A/B testing and refine user interface and experience enhancements to drive continuous improvement.
  • Project Management: Oversee the full project lifecycle, from planning and execution to completion, ensuring projects stay on time and within budget.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with adjacent teams to coordinate and optimize project execution.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Serve as a key point of contact, providing updates and managing expectations for both internal and external stakeholders. Performance Metrics: Define, track, and report on KPIs to measure the impact and success of each initiative.

Other Qualities of a Business Development Product Manager:

  • Demonstrated experience in business development, project management, or a similar role with a strong track record of managing projects on schedule and within budget.
  • Strong analytical skills, with experience in data-driven decision-making.
  • Familiarity with A/B testing methods and UI/UX principles.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Jira, ClickUp).
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams and with external vendors.

Education:

Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Project Management, or a related field required

Experience:

5 or more years of professional related experience required

Computer Skills:

Strong skills in MS Excel, Word and Powerpoint


Other Requirements:

  • Working knowledge of financial products (insurance, securities, mortgages, etc.), preferably investments.
  • Interest in and knowledge of precious metals.
