Cartera Commerce, a Rakuten company who is the pioneer and leader in online cash back shopping and a subsidiary of the global Internet services company, is looking for experienced, talented and passionate individuals to join our growing team. Cartera Commerce’s loyalty solutions serves major airlines to top banks, we partner with elite companies who use loyalty programs to reward their customers. We are seeking a driven, enthusiastic Marketing Coordinator to help increase member loyalty for some of the world’s biggest brands through the development and delivery of creative marketing campaigns. Candidates should have digital content development skills and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment with cross-functional internal and external partners.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Along with the brand and loyalty marketing team, responsible for the development of digital marketing strategies to support a variety of client loyalty programs.
  • Drive ongoing development and execution of client-branded multi-channel digital marketing content.
  • Assist with reporting and analysis of various marketing initiatives.
  • Inform and maintain marketing calendars and timelines to ensure seamless integration between client growth efforts and “retail and services” spikes.
  • Serve as a QA lead for marketing collateral across various digital channels in order to maintain consistent messaging across multi-channel communications.
  • Support other initiatives as identified and directed.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities):
  • Excellent organizational skills with ability to balance multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to meet and exceed deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Creative thinker able to be flexible and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong writing skills including experience with digital marketing copy and presentation development.
  • Team player, able to work simultaneously and collaboratively with multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong ability to clearly communicate through written communications and verbally.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
  • BA/BS degree
  • 2+ years of experience in a marketing, advertising, or public relations environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Sense of humor and positive attitude preferred
LANGUAGES:
  • English (Overall - 3 - Advanced)

At the time of posting, Rakuten expects the base compensation for this role to be within the range shown below. Individual compensation will vary based on job-related factors, including the skills, qualifications, and experience of the successful candidate as well as business need and geographic location. The successful applicant for this role will be eligible for discretionary bonus, health, vision, dental insurance, 401k matching, PTO, Volunteer Time Off (VTO), and other employee benefits as the company implements.
