Summary

We are looking for a proven marketing leader with a track record of successfully boosting revenue through strategic demand generation initiatives for SaaS and B2B models. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of strategic vision and hands-on execution, with a track record of delivering measurable results in a fast-paced environment, leveraging expertise in team leadership and development, demand and growth marketing, marketing strategy and planning, digital, paid media, SEM, content, SEO, events, data analytics and ROI analysis. This position is based in our Austin, TX office reporting to the Director of Global Marketing.

Responsibilities

  • Strategy Development: Design and implement comprehensive growth marketing strategies that align with business objectives to drive customer acquisition, retention, and revenue growth, with a focus on innovative digital tactics and traditional marketing techniques.
  • Demand Generation: Lead the planning, execution, and optimization of multi-channel demand generation campaigns (including digital, email, content marketing, social media, and events) to attract and engage target audiences. Ensure campaigns are aligned with customer personas and leverage A/B testing for continuous improvement.
  • Content Strategy: Collaborate with the Content & Creative team on the creation and distribution of high-quality content that resonates with target audiences, including white papers, case studies, blog posts, and videos, to establish thought leadership and support lead generation efforts.
  • Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing marketing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, creativity, and accountability. Conduct regular training sessions to upskill team members on new marketing technologies and trends.
  • Performance Analysis: Utilize data analytics to measure campaign performance across all channels, generate actionable insights, and report on key metrics to stakeholders; make data-driven decisions to optimize strategies and ensure goals are met.
  • Market Research: Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape, ensuring our marketing initiatives are innovative and effective. Present findings and recommendations to the executive team to guide strategic decision-making.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with sales, product, and customer success teams to ensure alignment of marketing efforts with overall business goals and to drive lead generation. Facilitate regular alignment meetings to review campaign performance and discuss new initiatives. Communicate with executive leadership on strategy and impact to plans.
  • Budget Management: Manage the marketing budget effectively, ensuring the optimal allocation of resources to maximize ROI on marketing initiatives. Develop forecasts and reports to track spending against budgetary targets.

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in growth marketing, with a focus on demand generation, preferably in technology or SaaS industries.
  • Proven experience in leading and developing high-performing marketing teams.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing channels and tools, as well as traditional marketing methods.
  • Excellent analytical skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • A self-starter with a proactive attitude and a passion for driving growth.
  • Proven team player with a focus on collaboration.
  • Creative problem solver and strategic thinker who brings passion, enthusiasm, and fresh ideas.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects at once, set priorities, work proactively and independently, problem solve, improvise and function as part of a team that must perform well under pressure.
  • Must have a "get it done" attitude and execute effectively, attention to detail.
  • Working knowledge of a partner relationship manager (PRM), Zoho, Google Suite, Excel, Hubspot, Monday.com or similar tools preferred.
  • Open to travel as needed to support and execute on events.
  • Security industry experience is a plus.

  • Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC): Measure the cost-effectiveness of marketing campaigns in generating new customers.
  • Lead Conversion Rate: Track the percentage of leads that convert into paying customers, assessing the effectiveness of the sales funnel and marketing strategies.
  • Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs): Monitor the quantity and quality of leads generated that meet defined marketing criteria and are likely to convert to sales.
  • Return on Investment (ROI): Evaluate the return generated from marketing investments to ensure efficient use of resources and budget.
  • Revenue Growth Rate: Measure the overall increase in revenue attributable to marketing efforts over time, highlighting the direct impact of campaigns on the company's financial performance.
