The Head of Affiliate Marketing and Events will lead strategies to enhance brand presence and revenue growth by managing affiliate relationships and executing impactful events across the USA.

The Head of Affiliate Marketing and Events is a strategic business development leader responsible for driving growth by building strong affiliate and alliance relationships while enhancing the firms brand presence across the USA. This role involves the continued development and execution of affiliate marketing strategies, the cultivation of current and new strategic alliances, and delivering impactful events that align with the companys business objectives. You will lead a dedicated affiliate partnership and event operations team and work collaboratively with other functions within the company to achieve significant revenue growth and market expansion.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

  • Enhance and execute innovative affiliate strategies to drive revenue growth and expand market presence.
  • Build out and maintain strategic partnerships with financial and real estate influencers and investor groups.
  • Analyze trends and performance metrics to refine strategies and identify new growth opportunities.
  • Improve a referral program to strengthen alliances and ensure partner satisfaction and retention.
  • Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for affiliate partnerships, event ROI, and pipeline growth.
  • Use data-driven insights to provide actionable recommendations and improve outcomes.

Marketing, Lead Generation and Client Retention

  • Serve as a communication hub between the affiliate & event team, and other Business Development departments.
  • Partner with the marketing team to create events aimed at generating leads and attracting new clients.
  • Integrate affiliate and event initiatives into broader business development strategies.
  • Work with the client fulfillment team to design events that enhance client loyalty and generate additional revenue streams.
  • Bring fresh ideas, tools, and methods to elevate the impact of events and partnerships.

Event Management

  • Plan and supervise the execution of an annual calendar of 60+ online and in-person events, including seminars, sponsorships, and client gatherings.
  • Supervise a team in charge of event logistics, such as venue selection, vendor negotiations, and on-site event operations, to ensure an exceptional experience for attendees, speakers, and sponsors.
  • Consult with event sponsors to clarify objectives, define success metrics, and ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and executive management to design engaging event content and curriculum.
  • Conduct post-event evaluations, gather feedback, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Introduce new practices and strategies to ensure events align with commercial priorities and stand out in the market.

Operational Excellence

  • Manage budgets and resources efficiently, ensuring high-quality outcomes without overspending.
  • Source, negotiate, and liaise with suppliers to maintain cost control without compromising quality.
  • Follow contract and financial procedures, ensuring compliance and budget tracking.
  • Track and report event ROI, using insights to improve future events.
  • Lead and mentor a high-performing team, promoting professional development and achieving key objectives.

Required Qualifications

  • Ideally a Bachelors degree in Marketing, Event Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven leadership experience in alliance partnerships and events management
  • Proven experience in business development, preferably in the financial or real estate industries.
  • Strong understanding of event planning and execution. Knowledge and experience of running multiple events at the same time while tracking ROI
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Ability to develop and implement strategic plans.
  • Knowledge of referral marketing and partnership development best practices. Experience working with online influencers is a plus
  • Proven leadership in managing remote and in-person teams
  • Highly competent in Microsoft Office, CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), and webinar/event management tools.
  • Willingness to work outside office hours as necessary
