Description:

4ocean Public Benefit Corporation is on a mission to save the world's oceans, and we are looking for a Head of eCommerce located in Boca Raton, Florida (with potential for flexibility and remote work arrangements) to help us advance our cause.

Position Overview:

As the Head of eCommerce, you will own and oversee the entire product vertical, encompassing all aspects of the business—from strategy and execution to platform management, marketing, operations, and revenue growth. In this pivotal role, you won’t just drive digital sales; you’ll lead the entire product ecosystem, ensuring seamless integration across all functions while creating a lasting impact on our organization.

Your leadership in optimizing our eCommerce platform, building a high-performing team, and driving innovative marketing strategies will directly fuel the resources and operations needed to expand our global cleanup efforts, deploy more crews, invest in sustainable technologies, and prevent plastic pollution at its source, scaling our mission to clean the oceans and protect marine life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruit, develop, and manage a high-performing eCommerce team, establishing clear roles, workflows, and processes to enhance productivity.
  • Streamline and optimize operations, leveraging technology and automation to improve site performance, user experience, and overall efficiency.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive product, marketing, and customer acquisition strategies to drive growth, engagement, and retention.
  • Oversee the development and launch of new products, ensuring alignment with market trends, customer needs, and company objectives.
  • Ensure a seamless and personalized customer journey across all touchpoints, enhancing retention through loyalty programs and post-purchase support.
  • Expand acquisition channels (SEO, SEM, social media, influencer partnerships), identify emerging trends, and capitalize on market opportunities to achieve revenue targets.
  • Partner with marketing, product, and sales teams to align eCommerce initiatives with broader company objectives and deliver cohesive brand messaging.
  • Monitor progress against goals, utilizing analytics tools to optimize performance and regularly report insights to the leadership team.
Requirements:
  • Experience:
    • 5+ years in eCommerce leadership roles, preferably with P&L responsibility.
    • Proven success in scaling eCommerce operations and driving significant revenue growth.
    • Expertise in eCommerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce) and digital marketing channels.
  • Skills
    • Strong leadership and team-building abilities.
    • Analytical mindset with proficiency in tools like Google Analytics and Excel.
    • Exceptional communication and project management skills.
