SHORT DESCRIPTION
The Head of Marketing role involves strategizing and executing marketing initiatives to enhance brand awareness and drive sales in the B2B residential market focused on property developers and HOAs.
The Head of Marketing is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies to attract and retain new business from property developers and homeowner associations (HOAs). This role will focus on building brand awareness, lead generation, and driving sales within the B2B residential market, while aligning with the overall company goals and positioning CMH as a leading provider of community management services. This position will lead all external facing marketing and communications and provide support as required for internal communications team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Marketing Planning:
- Develop and implement a robust B2B marketing strategy aligned with company objectives, including market segmentation, target audience identification, and key value proposition articulation.
- Identify and target key audiences within the community management industry (e.g., property managers, HOA boards, Large production homebuilders and real estate developers).
- Develop and manage the marketing budget, allocating resources across different channels effectively.
- Set measurable marketing KPIs and track performance to ensure strategy effectiveness.
- Conduct market research to understand industry trends, competitor analysis, and customer needs to inform marketing initiatives.
- Lead Generation and Sales Support:
- Develop and execute targeted marketing campaigns across multiple channels (digital, content, events, etc.) to generate qualified leads.
- Create compelling content (whitepapers, case studies, webinars) that showcase CMH's expertise and value proposition to potential clients.
- Manage lead nurturing processes to guide prospects through the sales funnel and convert them into paying customers.
- Collaborate with sales teams to ensure seamless lead handoff and conversion. Provide marketing support during sales cycle, including proposal development and client presentations.
- Collaborate with M&A team to provide marketing support to identify and engage targets for acquisitions.
- Manage and conduct external events to support both sales and M&A initiatives (including trade shows in key markets).
- Brand Management:
- Develop the brand architecture for the holding company, operating divisions and acquisitions.
- Maintain and enhance the CMH and corresponding brand image within the B2B market through consistent messaging and branding guidelines.
- Develop brand awareness campaigns to position CMH as a trusted leader in community management.
- Monitor brand perception and make necessary adjustments to strengthen CMH's reputation in the market (google reviews, BBB grade, etc).
- Digital Marketing Expertise:
- Oversee the development and execution of a comprehensive digital marketing strategy including website optimization, SEO, social media marketing, and targeted online advertising.
- Utilize marketing automation tools to nurture leads and manage customer relationships.
- Content Creation and Marketing Communications:
- Create valuable and engaging content (whitepapers, case studies, blog posts, articles, videos) to establish CMH as a thought leader in the HOA and association community management.
- Develop and manage marketing communications materials including email campaigns, newsletters, and presentations.
- Leverage industry publications, conferences, and online forums to promote CMH's expertise.
- Team Leadership and Management:
- Lead and mentor internal and external resources.
- Foster a collaborative work environment and encourage innovative thinking.
- Relationship Building:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, product development, and customer success to align marketing efforts with overall business objectives.
- Build relationships with key industry influencers and partners to expand reach and credibility.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Minimum 10 years related experience.
- Bachelors Degree in related field.
- Proven track-record of success in B2B marketing, ideally within the HOA/community management industry.
- Deep understanding of digital marketing strategies and technologies including SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing and marketing automation tools.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively convey complex information to clients and stakeholders.
- Strong analytical skills to measure and report on marketing campaign performance and make data-driven decisions.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including sales, operations, M&A and business development.

Additional Information:
If driving is, or becomes, a requirement of the role, it is required, at all times, that you hold a valid state driver’s license for the class of vehicle you are driving, maintain a clean motor vehicle report, and hold current automobile insurance at statutory limits.
