Seeking a dynamic Home Care Recruiter to source, screen, and hire qualified professionals to deliver exceptional care to clients at Nova Leap Home Health.

Job Description:

Nova Leap Home Health is a leading home care agency dedicated to helping older adults continue to live at home. We provide personalized home care services and solutions to fit the family.

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Home Care Recruiter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and hiring qualified caregivers, nurses, and other home health professionals to meet the staffing needs of our growing home care agency. The recruiter will play a critical role in ensuring that we provide compassionate and skilled professionals to deliver exceptional care to our clients in their homes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Talent Acquisition: Actively source and recruit qualified candidates (caregivers, CNAs, RNs, LPNs, etc.) through job boards, social media, career fairs, community outreach, and referrals.
  • Screening and Interviewing: Conduct initial screenings, interviews, and assessments to ensure candidates meet the qualifications and standards for providing home care services.
  • Job Postings: Create, update, and manage job postings across various platforms to attract potential candidates.
  • Compliance: Ensure that all candidates meet licensing, certification, and background check requirements in compliance with state regulations and company policies.
  • Onboarding: Facilitate the onboarding process, including orientation, training, and documentation, to ensure caregivers are well-prepared for their roles.
  • Relationship Building: Build and maintain relationships with local schools, training programs, and community organizations to develop a pipeline of qualified candidates.
  • Reporting: Track and report on recruitment metrics such as time-to-hire, sourcing channels, and retention rates.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in recruiting, preferably within the home care, healthcare, or related field.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business, or a related field (preferred, but not required).
  • Skills: Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills; ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Technology: Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS), job boards, and social media for recruitment purposes.
  • Knowledge: Understanding of healthcare industry standards, certifications, and licensing requirements (specific to home care services).
  • Self-Starter: Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team, to achieve recruitment goals.
