We are currently seeking a Clinical Manager to provide overall management and supervision of client care activities within the home care setting. Work in conjunction with other team members to ensure appropriate level of staffing and coordination of care to meet client goals. This position requires an ability to be flexible and work with all members of the health care team and provide ongoing supervision, clinical education, support, and evaluation to the nursing staff. This role will support the Nursing Director which may include communication of updated policies and procedures, caseload assignment, as well as additional clinical needs.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The position involves overseeing clinical services, staff, and operations within a skilled nursing agency. A supervising physician or registered nurse, preferably with public health experience, leads the clinical team, ensuring quality patient care, regulatory compliance, and effective agency growth.
- Manage clinical staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
- Drive staff development and ensure alignment with agency policies and quality standards.
- Assist in agency growth, marketing, and relationship-building with third-party payers.
- Oversee patient care, including assessments, treatments, and coordination with physicians.
- Ensure staffing and resources for quality care and timely response to referrals.
- Maintain accurate documentation for billing, payroll, and compliance.
- Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local regulations.
- Lead quality improvement initiatives, collect data, and implement action plans.
- Monitor clinical outcomes to ensure services meet licensing requirements.
- Assist in managing budgets and ensuring cost-effective services.
- Oversee case management and communicate financial goals to staff.
- Address client complaints, handle emergent situations, and provide clinical oversight.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Branch Director or Regional Director.
REQUIREMENTS:
- RN licensure in designated states as appropriate.
- Valid Driver’s license and Acceptable MVR.
- Ability to manage a caseload as needed.
PREFERENCES:
- OASIS experience.
- Home Health Case Management.
