Amara Hospice Care is seeking a passionate Sales & Marketing professional to enhance their market presence in Saginaw, MI, and improve the lives of end-of-life patients through innovative marketing strategies.

Amara Hospice Care is looking for a competent Sales & Marketing person to further the organization’s marketing ventures for the Saginaw MI location. This primarily involves developing and implementing strategies to strengthen the company’s market presence and help make a difference in the lives of our patients. The ideal candidate will be an experienced professional with a passion for the job, able to employ unique marketing techniques. He/She will be a skilled marketing strategist and able to drive creativity and enthusiasm in others. The goal is to increase the company’s market share and benefit end of life patients by expanding awareness and utilization of the excellent services Amara Hospice Care provides.

Responsibilities

  • Continuously conducts market assessments and develops a comprehensive marketing plan designed to meet budgetary volume projections.

  • Employs marketing and promotional initiatives to achieve budgetary volume projections.

  • Establishes and maintains positive working relationships with current and potential referral and payer sources.

  • Builds and monitors community, customer, payer and patient perceptions of the Hospice as a high quality provider of services.

  • Provides leadership in strategic planning including identifying opportunities for additional or improved services to address customer needs in collaboration with the Director of Operations/ Executive Director.

  • Maintains comprehensive working knowledge of the Hospice markets including government agencies, major payer groups, key referral sources, and competitor’s market positioning.

  • Maintains comprehensive working knowledge in the field of marketing and shares information with appropriate organization personnel.

  • Maintains comprehensive working knowledge of community resources and assists customers in accessing community resources for individuals who do not meet Hospice eligibility criteria.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: Starting at 65k with bonus structure
